Does wearing FUBU mean you're a gangster?

Chill out people! I was only wondering why this club banned FUBU clothes.

EUBU stands for from us by us and the guys who started the line of clothing did it from their parents basement. They now have a clothing line that is in all major stores across the united states
and in europe and the carribbean also.They were hard working kids who had an idea and made it reality.Gangster clothing??? Hardly gangster, but just nice urban wear that the kids snatch up very quickly and their company is worth several hundred million dollars......kids of all colors wear the gear and they will be around for a long time. HOW DOES THE COLOR OF THEIR SKIN PLAY INTO THIS??? they marketed their product and are doing very well and who on here would not like to be in their position ?

That's a very good point, but you ARE missing the point. African-Americans are, GENERALLY speaking, built differently than people of caucasion decent. Most jeans, shirts and ESPECIALLY "dressy" clothing are not made for the general build of an African-American. What this team of designers (FUBU) did was create a fashion line that catered to that certain build. It's not good or bad--it's just different. Let me reiterate that you do make a good point, and I was just trying to shed some light on it for you.

Most jeans, shirts and ESPECIALLY "dressy" clothing are not made for the general build of an African-American. What this team of designers (FUBU) did was create a fashion line that catered to that certain build. It's not good or bad--it's just different. Let me reiterate that you do make a good point, and I was just trying to shed some light on it for you.
