my last training cycle i've focused exclusively on strenght. seeing as i'm fairly satisfied with the results, i'm going to go back on a 'regular' bodybuilding routine. how does this look to you guys and gals:

DAY 1 BACK/TRAPS
deads 3x8-10
bent over rows 3x8-10
one arm DB rows 2x-10
shrugs 3x12-15

DAY 2 CHEST
incline bench press 3x8-10
flat bench press 3x8-10
DB flyes 2x8-10

DAY 3 OFF

DAY 4 TRICEPS/BICEPS
CG bench press 3x8-10
french press 2x8-10
EZ bar curl 3x8-10
hammer curl 2x8-10

DAY 5 LEGS/DELTS
squat 3x8-10
lunges 3x8-10
calf raises 3x12-15
military press 3x8-10
upright rows 2x8-10
lateral raises 2x8-10

DAY 6+7 OFF

on off days i'll work on my cardio, flexibility and abs. also keep in mind that i work out at home and thus have no squat rack, no machines, just free weights.

looks good to you people? any pointers?

thanks in advance.

Looks like a solid routine Sagat. Id add a few extra sets for back and chest though. Thats just me. Maybe an extra 3-4 sets of lat pulldowns and atleast 6 sets for flat and 6 for incline. Of course Ive often been accused of overtraining but seems to work for me.Im 185 17 3/4 arms small 25" quads and 48 1/4 chest deadlift 465 bench 350 squat 405 I estimate and a recent hack lift of 565 Also curl 205lbs for 3 reps cheat barbell curls and incline 345 Im 22 and natural ninth year training Hope that helps

thanks for the advice. those are some nice numbers there. incidentally, i've been training since the same age as when you began (got a way to go before i put up those numbers though)

I like it, and if you do to, awesome.

I don't really see a need to change anything except I would do 5 sets of Squats, and 5 sets of Deads.
