Does getting punched in the face actually hurt?

I've been nailed by a soccerball in the face and that shocked the fuck out of me,is it anything like that?
Is it really tough aiming for the other guys face when fighting?

no, a soccer ball will really rock you if it connects...your head goes flying.

punches dont quite move your head that much...sure your head moves but only a bit. most of the time when youre in a brawl the person hitting you doesnt do so with conviction, or is trying to get too many punches in and doesnt slug you properly in their hurry to hit you with 3 more.

as for it being hard to hit another guy...well no, not really. in a street fight generally the first hit is by surprise (fuckers...happened to me once in a basketball game, good thing the guy didnt know his knuckle from his boyfriends penis) or the fighters will close really quickly so youre at elbow/knee/grappling distance quite fast anyway

ive only see a couple of fights where the guys went toe to toe for a significant amount of time. most of the time one guy got dazzled in the first skirmish and the other guy is being an asshole and giving him as many punches as humanly possible before the brawl is broken up

its not that bad, its just that we arent all armed to the teeth, so things get sorted out manually

anyway fighting isnt very nice. even winning sucks. you ahve to look over your shoulder for the next month. dont do it.

no, unless they hit a bony part like your eyeridge or bridge of your nose...then it can sting/smart a little

in general the bit that hurts most is your hands (for me anyway)

I broke the hell outta my hand punching on this dudes head, never felt a thing until about an hour after the fight.

My friends were like "Holy fuck the bone is sticking outta your hand!!". it was "boxers" fracture, where you break it and the bone twist around because of repeated punching. Now the doctor setting it hurt like a motherfucker.

Anytime I get into a fight I don't really feel pain just kinda heat, hard to explain.

It hurts the owner of the hand who punched you more than it hurts you (that is, if they happen to hit your jawbone). The only time it hurts really is when you go to eat something and you realize that you're missing a few teeth.

Depends on how hard you're being hit and in what part of the face. I sparred with a pro boxer once and let me tell you, when he hit me on the chin and the nose, that shit hurt bad and the human brain was not meant to take those blows.
