Does Anyone Remember This?

I don;t mean to sound like an old fuck but there was actually a time when there was no such things as "steroid stores."

If you were lucky enough to find a hardcore gym, it'd take some time to get to know "the right guys." Then when you did, it was a matter of what was available.

What have you got today?

Just dbol and Deca. How much ya want?

Or..."Only winny. Winny is 2 buck a pill. 2 mgs.

Or...finaplex -- mash the pellets yourself. Try not to get an abcess.

And forget about supps, PCT or even avoiding gyno. There was dick.

I know it's hard to believe, but it's true.

Yet, it made those cycles that much more meaningful.

Again, I sound like an crumpy old fart if I say "Damn kids don't know who easy they have it!!!" But fuck if it ain't true.

Nelson, What do you think it will be like 10, 20 years from now?

I remember those days indeed. And I also remember the first time I saw someone grind up fina pellets and rub it into their cleanly shaved thighs with some DMSO gel, then wrapping their thighs really tight with saran wrap so the mixture can get in via absorption. LOL

I also remember having to drive to mexico for rediject deca/sauce, Ganabol EQ. Those were the days

I can't imagine availability getting much easier. Maybe they'll really crack down on internet sales and it'll go more underground. Hard to say. Most probably, there will be more compounds and peptides and supplements will continue to improve. There really haven't been many innovations in steroids in the last 10 years, though I'm surprised more UG labs haven't made "mixtures" -- you know, Like 50/50 test and promo. I think people would go for that.

I remember almost crying of joy when I got my hands on my first packet of test E ampules. When it was available, I spent all my savings to stock up on it and hide it like it was golden :D

Well over here steroids were legal till some time in the 80's , so the gym I eventually worked for had a cup at the entrance full of free dbol u could take a few before training lol used to get my test cyp from the pharmacy 10 x 200mg ampules was in your currency maybe 7 dollars ?

We really can only thank China for the steroid situation that we have right now. It's rather nice that they turn such a blind eye to the whole process, makes availability much easier.

It'll only get worse too. China will start to feel pressure from other countries as this starts to get exposed more and more - but then again its a fine line because even a lot of raw grade pharmaceuticals used in US medicine are produced in China. Right now we can still exploit the favorable exchange rate, but that wont always be the case.

I agree. It's not going to get easier to get these compounds, it's going to get harder. As Big Brother steps up his game, in the name of peace and security, we will lose more and more rights to our privacy and this will include what is sent via mail.

when i was in high school no one did jack. and if they did they must have kept it very quiet cause i never saw anything used besides cheap protein tubs.. today when i volunteer officiating high school football the kids don't look like they juice at all.. maybe they do i have no idea. but they look skinny to me.. i think it just depends on the area you are in.

as far as innovations, until someone comes up with a way to improve genetics i don't think we will see that much difference in the future. you still will have to bust your ass in the gym and eat great to gain... if anything I see things getting worse as walmart and other big chains keep gobbling up the smaller guys and more and more people buy food in boxes cause its cheaper and more available..

I will say there is a re-surgence in organic and whole foods with a segment of the population, but the demand is weak unless you are in college type areas. i remember 10-15 years ago organic didn't exist anywhere in my area, now you have health food stores and places like whole foods that sell and do very well. so it seems like a chunk of the population is eating healthier or atleast trying, but the majority and growing are eating worse and worse.. i see people in gym attire in the supermarket buying healthy, and then 90% of everyone else is buying shit.

do you guys in other parts of the country notice this same thing happening? just curious.

I'll answer that this way;

Every other Friday for some reason Weight Watchers has a meeting in my office....one of my friends in the office says to me last week "I have my WW meeting then we're going to Wendy's for lunch....."

^^^ dude I used to run with in my running group would go to Wendy's after our 5K runs, and he would always complain that he couldn't lose that gut he had.. i think there is something in that food that makes it addicting.. no idea, i haven't eaten fast food in 10 some years, can't even stand the smell.

Has anyone ever watched that movie where that guy only eats McDonald's food for like 6 months? I can't remember what the name of it is but he literally only ate mcd's for like 6 months for this documentary. I can't even remember if he finished the whole time or not be he damn near dies just after that short period of time. I can remember his dr telling him to stop that his body and bloods was so jacked up that he might not make it thru the entire time...

^^^ super size me i think its called. yeah that food is atrociously bad... when i was a teen i would eat it and always thought it tasted like shit and made me feel like shit, but when you make 5.20 an hour and you have a 35 minute school lunch break thats pretty much your only option.

I'm spoiled today and blessed i can afford real food and have a yard where i can grow my own vegetable garden. not everyone has that luxury
