I want to get 1-2 for home use when i can't get to the gym. I can't decide what weight to start off with. I've been simulating kettlebells by holding two 15 lb dumbbells together. The weight is about right for now, maybe a bit light once I get the movement down. I'm thinking a KB might be easier to swing though so maybe I should go 40.
They have them at my SO's gym. I like using them for snatches and pushups. The ones they have are just metal. I've seen some that are coated with plastic.
