Does ANYBODY at college know wtf is going on?

I must have called at least 4 different numbers and had been transferred to 7 or 8 different people to get an answer to a simple question.

My question: "Can I CLEP out of my general education Biological science requirement?"

Biology department: "You can't clep out of any biology courses if you're a biology major. Oh... you're not a biology major? Talk to admissions."

Admissions: "Hold let me transfer you to the registrar."

Registrar: "We have nothing to do with CLEP... let me transfer you to the testing office."

*gets disconnected on being transferred to the testing office*

*calls general information*

"Hi may I have the number to the testing office please?"

*Calls the testing office*

Testing office: "Oh yes you can certainly CLEP out of general biology!"

me: "Biology dept. said I couldn't"

Testing office: "You should try calling the records office tomorrow."

I've had enough of this.

Who is the big master of all in charge of the entire university? The dean right? I'm going to go talk to that fucker tomorrow.

I'm sure he'll give me the answer I want to hear. Hell, he sent me a letter this summer telling me that I was on his list. If someone was on my list, I'd sure help them out.
