yes heavy for me, 300-350 lbs. I've never heard that about leg presses, I wonder if it would be a good idea to replace them with something less straining, lunges maybe?
Come on man, with al due respect but if you're allready getting joint problems doing 300-350 lbs (130-140 kg) on the leg press then maybe you're just not build for bodybuilding.
That's a weight the women at my gym use
Thats not right , how do u know how much he weighs ? he could weight 130 lbs ....... and to press 350 at that body weight isnt that bad...is it ? He could also have a history of knee problems.

No PAIN is normal! Just make sure you are not going down too much, by that I mean when your spine is curling in you are going down too much, and don't lock your legs up when on top.
BTW Moen no need for negative criticism, you aren't helping out anyone with your "words of encouragement".
first off, back when i was a high jumper i used to do lunges all the time, and explsoive lunges with a lighter weight. I have never felt that much pain even from squatting (although squatting is definitely a better compound movement). They work the hell out of your quads and hamstrings.
audio, how often are you training legs? Number of sets, rep ranges? You may need to cut down on the frequency and/or volume, and not just change exercises.
Are you doing any other leg work?
