Do You Tell Your Kids You Juice?

My oldest one knows she is 15. My younger ones don't. Just wondering if ya'll tell your kids or not. The only thing that sux is when I am mad she always says, "stop raging dad" or "roid rage roid rage". Which I really never get that mad or irritable on gear. Now clen that is another story she even ask that I stop taking it

Personally i woud'nt tell my kids. My gf don't even know. My son is 7 yo and my daughter is 2. I prefer not to tell. I'm trying to tell my gf about it since 2 month ago. I did not find the best time for that yet...

Well, she is very mature for her age and me her have conversations about all kinks of stuff. I had a long talk with her about it. I told her the real reason they are illegal was because of this coutries infactuation with sports and they(the govt) consider roids cheating. And since I don't compete in sports and I don't abuse gear and use it responsibly I think it is ok to use. I also told her to look at other countries if roids were so bad how come they are not outlawed like harder drugs are everywhere.

I mean which ones worse telling her the truth about it or lying?

It doesn't matter whether you believe it or not. You are, in fact, doing something illegal. They will cuff you no matter what your personal beliefs are.

I agree in some respects with anabolic 24/7. 15 is too young to know. Later in life, if it is asked about, one should be open and honest -- and factual -- about the use. I personally wouldn't try to justify the use by couching it in theoretical rhetoric, but I would be factual about the pros and cons.

I think that the wife/gf should know about the use, as that should be an open and completely honest relationship. I think that the kid should have been protected from ever finding out prior to her being an older age. (i.e. one should be more careful about their use.) If the kid did find out somehow, I would say use would have to stop until the kid is older. Kids aren't old enough to understand how to bend the rules responsibly. Wait till she applies that reasoning to coke or crank or heroin or whatever...

I wouldn't tell my kids or my wife as they both would NOT understand. Which is the only reason I don't do the needle. It would be hard to explain that considering I am not diabetic nor to I use "bad" drugs" so there is no reason to have needles around. The large amount of pills i take are suppliments (which is kinda try if you look at it from the right angle with rose colored glasses on. ) and viatamins. I know that is bad, but what are the alternatives??

Why would a father tell his daughter about gear use? Do you think she really cares about how dad got his arms up to 17" instead of being stuck at 16"? What if she goes and tells her best friend Sally one day in passing and Sally's dad is a member of the local police department. I don't see any logic in admitting a felony to anyone, you're just shooting yourself in the foot, no matter close you are to your daughter.

In the next couple of years when she gets sexually active do you think she is going to share details about her sex life with dad- don't count on it. Some things are better left unsaid.

If my kids ask me if I take steroids I don't want to lie to them. I also don't want to tell them that I am a juice junky.

Everyone is posting good points and bad points of telling.
It all boils down to the specifics of your situation. I am divorced man, therefore I wouldn't want my children saying to their mom and have it use that information in any bad way against me. However my relationship with my kids is wonderful. Maybe when they get old enough (21 +) and if they are curious I might bring it up. but for now it is all between me and my my workout body.

For clarification, let me state that I've never had an affair. And I do think it is one of the lowest things you can do to somebody that you supposedly love. Sure, affairs are selfish. I agree. But they're also symptomatic of deeper problems within a relationship.

I don't need a cousilor. lol. I'm happily married w/no affairs. You've read to much Cosmopolitan, I know women pretty well, and dragging up the past on a issue that is dead and buried will do your relationship more harm than good, on many issues not just flings. She may not be so forgiving, may not be able to cope with it, may leave you. If all that risk, not to mention the stress that will come to her because of your forthrightness is a good thing then I guess that's is one good thing I'll never experiance. There are things from my past that my wife wouldn't understand(you know the 2 girls at-a-time-thing), so I never would mention it even if she asked.
The underlying rule of thumb here is "Never admit to anything" be it AS use ect...

I can't help but note the irony in the 3 wives thing and knowing women well, but I am glad you are happy now. I've been with my first (and only) wife for 12 years now. Glad you have found something that works for you and your partner. I still hold that radical honesty is the key to a successful relationship.

I don't know about kids because I don't have any but I can tell you that my sister and her husband know about my use of steroids...and that was a big mistake. He is 37 and is now so busy telling me what a horrific decision I have made, and how I have ruined my health forever....meanwhile he is 6'0" about 235 with roughly 30% BF...and as he eats a couple of cheeseburgers with supersize fries and finishes it off with about a pack of cigarettes every day. I have now been outcast from visiting them until I am "off the cycle". yes my 12 year old daughter and 10 year old son know, in fact they are the ones that inject me. They are always fighting over who will inject me next. They even set my cycle up even before I do it. I think that it is wise to be extremely selective in what one discusses. Also consider that half of marriages fail and many pre-marriage relationships never make it to marriage so it would be better to limit information for that reason. No reason for disgruntled ex to mess with you. How much detail is given can make all the difference. I got a perscription for Test. C.
