Yep, he's a 40+ year old that is a lead singer for a popular local band(his "job")....he lives in a nice house in a good neighborhood with his mother and brother(it's the brother's house), same neighborhood as my best friend. He went to Nashville and failed then came back to Toledo. He's a nice enough guy but damn....get a real job.

Not off hand, but that would be rather embarrassing I think and not something I would hold over him or dwell upon to make him feel bad. I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation.

Of course, one of my Uncles was a lazy fuck who sponged off of, and lived with, my grandmother until the day she suddenly died. He definitely had an aversion to alarm clocks, school, manual labor, intellectual labor, and work in general. He finally snapped out of it at the tender age of 50, bless him.

its common in greek culture for everyone to live at home until they get married. i have a LOT of late twenties friends that still live at home.

plus, what with the divorce rate being what it is etc, lots of those friends live at home so that their parents have some company
