Do you have any Anorexic girls

I think getting two sleeves with properly considered artwork would go a lot farther at showing your inner turmoil; I'm here to help.

Anorexia was free.
The disease stuck around much longer than the initial angst. it is sneaky like that.

My ex wife spent her first two years of college as a purging anorexic, never had a problem after undergrad.

For me it was more like an external expression of internal fuckedupedness.

As I said earlier in the thread.

Some anorexics do it to become more unattractive. It's not about being thin, losing weight, being sexy, etc. That's just where the hurt/anger/whatever gets focused. Like stef, I got out of the situation that triggered the disease (no, not anything with a boyfriend or anything like that), but it already had it's claws sunk in me.

For my ex-wife it was about control. She felt so overwhelmed and out of control being thrown into the college situation, it was a way for her to have complete control over one aspect of her life.

it is the manifestation of a personality disorder. btw many ppl with borderline personality disorder have an eating disorder. it is synonymous with identity diffusion.

For me it was part control, part coping mechanism, part...lots of stuff.

And, layin, while it may be true sometimes, it is not universally a "manifestation of a personality disorder."
