In all honesty, set them free. It it gets that desperate and you cannot take your pets. Free them. I've spoken with a woman who goes into disaters for animals. You would be AMAZED at the people who will leave there home, take there clothes and leave Fluffy pinned up inside, chained up in the backyard, in a cage. No chance with rising water.

I think this is amazing stuff. Very few animals died during the horrible tsunami last year in comparison to human deaths. They knew it was coming.
