You just know. I can't really describe it. You sorta get this feeling that you already know them. In my case I new her from the past. I knew we had been together in the past and that something happened that separated us. Death perhaps. But to answer your question. You just know.

Never settle! That is what I did with my second wife and it has been nothing but hell. (not that she is a bad person, but you get what you want) Settling is not the answer.

That is so true!
I have been single and playing since last fall and I look at so many people I know and in my family who "settled" and all they is miserable and complain.

Of course I want to meet the "one" out there but if I never find her I would rather be alone that settle.

My Grandfather died a year ago Aug 1. When my grandmother died almost 19 years ago he jumped literally into a relationship within a very short time. Well long story short they got , thats fine , but my grandfather was miserable and did not get any sex the last 15 years of his life even though he was capable, plus no affection etc, just grief. Well because of his stupid outdated beliefs of staying in a marriage no matter what the above is what he got instead because he settled.
And that is my main reson for not wanting to settle, because if I have a choice between being a lonely old guy one day or a miserable one who settled, I'll take the lonliness and spend my retirement years in Vegas at a "chicken Ranch" with a case of test and viagra.

Life is too short and after wasting a couple years here and there being miserable, I can't fanthom being like that anymore.

So true, when my grandfather died several years ago, my grandmother died within the month for no apparent reason physical reason. I believe she died because for her, life was not worth going on without the man she had been with for almost 60 years! She truely was still in love with him and died from a broken heart.
