Difference between memory

I am thinking about upgrading my system memory, to OCZ, Corsaire or Kingston.

Is there really a difference between the different producers of memory?

Is it just who is cheapest?

No real difference but those give lifetime warranty, cheaper ones don't....

Besides the obvious amount of RAM they offer, it's all down to MHz. Make sure you get the right one, most likely DDR2 RAM with a maximum of 1066MHz.

Besides that, unless you are building a serious rig for gaming or video editing, brand doesn't really matter. I got two 2GB OCZ RAM chips to make my PC up to 8GB, never had any problems and I can have Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Mozilla, WMP, Filezilla and more running, minimize the lot and still play a game with no hiccups. Its awesome.
