dieting people

ok,ive been around a while,diet has always been my weakness,I am a slave to tasty although horrible foods for our kind of lifestyle.

im looking for some tips, or anything you can offer me on how you go from eating what you want ,to a stict diet on the road to being shredded.

my biggest problem is cravings for bad foods and the people around me who arent too supportive when I say no I cant eat that.
 
so its a total will power thing?

damn,my will power for food is non exhistant,but ive always had a huge drive in the gym which has kept me around 15% bf which I could live with,however this year ive been out of the gym alot so im much higher then that now and scared ill never get back,or get better then where I use to be
 
All about self control Oak...

Make meals before hand.. Good amount of protein daily..

You're lacking will power.. All the tasty foods will always be there... Don't be weak.. make those burgers I told you about... Write everything you eat in a note pad..
It's EASY! just get in the mood...

I definately loved those burgs ,and will be making lots more,I think I just get bored quick and then resort to tasty unhealthy alternatives.

im gonna get back to my fitday journal and only buy healthy foods,no more junk.which usually isnt an issue when im working,but home,the place is full of shit that isnt mine,but makes me crave it anyway

Take a pic of yourself naked and place it on the mirror in the bathroom and on your fridge
 
The craving it is obviously where yr going on... Don't be tempted otherwise whats the point of a goal... You won't reach it and you'll be wasting yr time...

Don't care what others think of you what you're eating... Think about you oak!

Your diet is rubbish if you have to crave unhealthy foods...

Stick to a regime and play with food... I'll send you more ideas of fun but good foods you can take to work or have at home...

Hell Oak put a pic of Ilk on your fridge. The diet you seek is embedded after a few weeks. Allow your self some cheat meals, they only help if in moderation. I get pretty damn grumpy after a few weeks on it. But yes, it is self control. Lots of spices have zero calories, it should not be that hard. The sushi bar is my cheat now.

Did I mention putting an ILK pic on your fridge?

All about will power and dalayed gratification. Once you start seeing and feeling the results of a tight diet it gets so much easier. Another thing I have noticed that you also lose a sweet tooth after a certain amount of time. I had ice cream last night it was good but not amazing good like I thought it would be. However the pizza and sushi I had over my cheats were both amazing good.
 
thanks guys,im definately taking note of this,diet sure isnt easy ,but I have to give it my all or ill never end up getting where I want to both phyiscally and career wise.

right now im making a tuna casserole with whole wheat rotini ,cant fricken wait to get into it.

I have grown to hate tuna but I make tuna cakes with celery, crackers, a touch or worst and fat free cheeze. casserole?

ya whole wheat rotini,my recipe is kinda just shit thrown together but its tasty.

i get sick of tuna and well everything after a while,so im just gonna keep things in a good rotation and tasty

Another tasty recipe for me is half lb of buff burger, with greeen onions, 2 eggs, worst, crackers and some garlic. It is like a big flat meatball but makes ya smell lol.
 
mayeb she will donate me a good one,Im sure nobody around me will complain about that,but a nudie one of me will have folks running for the hills

Welcome to one of the hardest challenges of life. One that many Americans fail at. Eating an extrememly healthy diet. If you manage to conquer this, you are conquering your body, your impulses, your mind. Which means you would then be able to conquer just about anything :)

is your sweeth tooth gone for good now do you think? or do you think it could come back if you lapsed or something?

I was alot like that..for me it was more of the convience thing. But I have learned that you can even make pizza more healthy for you. I still eat the foods I have always loved but I subsitute with low fat, wheat, light, etc. I am never planning on going into comps or anything but I have lost weight this way. Never starving myself and always eating the foods I love but with the substitutions I mentioned. Hopefully sweets aren't a weakness for you because there isn't much for substitutions there..that I know of anyway. I myself am not much into sweets, thank goodness!

sweets arent the issue as much as chips and dip,and burgers and frys,that kind of shit has me on my knees
 
I didn't have a prayer dieting until i had serious structure in my life, then i could pre-make meals and have the same thing (with some twists) at the same time each day....once you make it a habit, it doesn't seem that bad
 
at work it isnt such an issue ,i eat every 2 hrs to take a break,but thats just this assignment the next will change and be a bitch im sure,and then it will be hard to premake food because I share a hotel fridge with another person.

home is just a disaster but from now on first thing when I get home from away at work Ill be going grocery shopping

Honestly...stay away from fat people.

No diss to fat people but they ALWAYS try to get you to eat as much and the foods they eat.

Seriously?

You could try keep all the foods you should not eat out of the house then and be somewhat anti social until you get in the groove and not give a shit what other people have to say.

OH and don't go cold turkey - slowly eliminate foods, like nothing fried, then no sugar, etc etc.

true that. fat people are jealous and will try to screw up your success.
same with lazy people who have fast metabolisms and eat junk food.
 
back when I was in my top shape a few years ago I was plain anti social because people I hang out with are such slobs and eat shit,it may need to go that far again. being in shape is much more important then going out getting loaded and eating like shit

just remember though, its kind of a trade off, because it can be harder to score when you are anti social.
 
know the feeling. i'm in better shape than 99% of my friendsd, and you can see their jealousy i can wear wife betters and looked ripped, and get attention - and they haven't done that since their early 20's.
