Did i do too much damage to my diet??

so you are saying you can eat a box of bars, a tube of ice cream, some pizza, chinese and a couple foot longs with NO ILL effects???????

Ok granted, that may be a bit extreme. IT will compromise fat lose some. That is alot of calories.
 
i agree with finaplix. I can eat anything on my carb-up and still get a 2lb to 3lb loss a week. I guess it just depends on the person and how your body works. I do notice that when i really go over board it takes about 8 hrs longer to get back into ketosis. So i say if your happy thats half the battle. Do whats right for you.
 
Ok just went to the gym and before doing this damage to my diet i was 193 ripped to shreads, i am now one day later 202 and looks like i am retaining a little water maybe..

But i remember in the past when i did this and was on a super strict diet like the one im running now with close to no carbs and all protein, that after the first day i looked like shyt but 3 days later i looked better then before i did the carb up..

I dont know i think my body was in such need of carbs and shyt that itll grab it all up and burn it.
 
I think maybe the one place u could see the difference is on my lower abs..

And the abs definately looked much deeper where as now they look more full but veiny like a mofo..

I dont know i think its good to go nuts once in a while, maybe next time ill try going nuts with some better foods like vegies and steaks..
 
I cant beleive thats what people eat on their cheat day. Jeez have I been short changing myself. On my cheat day or carb up, I still eat in a caloric deficit just not as extreme. ill have high carb foods that are low in fat like bagels and pancakes w syrup.
 
IJ, on carb up days don't drop your fat intake or calories too low, or you'll miss the anabolic effect of the cheat/carbup day. This days are also necisary to keep your metabolism from slowing down, so short changing yourself can actually interfear with your fat loss the rest of the week.

Don't not worry about it...if you knew what I ate every Saturday this last month you'd shit your pants...talk about binging ALL FUCKIN DAY LONG. And I'm still leaner once I work off the god aweful bloat that last for 4 days.
 
Really, I thought I should maintain a caloric deficit even on the carb up. well screw it Ill go all out today and gain a few pounds of water if it will help me lean out even more. Do u guys even count cals on your carb up days or do u just say screw it and just pig out?

I do the screw it thing :). One day/week isn't going to hurt at all as long as your in a caloric deficit the other 6 and working your tail off in the gym and with cardio.
