Did anyone else start using gear because they had low natural T levels?

When I was 26 I had lab work done which showed that I had very low natural test levels. I had competed in powerlifting for many years but I reached a point where I wasn't making any gains. In fact, I couldn't maintain my gains. I then developed mild gynecomastia which prompted my doctor visit. That's why he did the blood work to test my levels of testosterone, estrogen, prolactin, etc. Even though my lab results showed very low levels of T. the doctor didn't prescribe anything for it. That's when I decided to take things into my own hands and hooked up with a buddy at the gym who had connections and could get "things". This was before you could buy whatever you wanted on the internet. I did my first cycle of nothing but 15mg/day of dbol. They were those tiny pink pentagon shaped tablets that came from Thailand. Once I started taking those, I quickly regained all of the gains I had lost and then I just kept getting bigger and stronger. I was a powerlifter so I didn't care about looking "pretty", I just wanted to lift heavy weights. Anyway, that's how I started using gear.

I am 28. Went into TRT at 27. Never used anything besides protein and... creatine lol.
But once I went on TRT I went up 30lbs in a matter of a couple months. And this was on 160mg TRT. Well that led to trying some other stuff that labwork proved to be bunk or severely underdosed. My deca was (mostly if not all) test.
November though I'll be running a top brand and I'll see what really happens when I add some legit stuff.

The problem with using steroids to solve naturally low testosterone levels is that although it will temporarily solve the problem, your testosterone levels will be even lower once you get off the gear. It's kind of like robbing Peter to pay Paul.

If your testosterone levels are naturally low, I would try to naturally raise them by running a good PCT protocol like the perfect PCT -> http://www.evolutionary.org/the-perfect-post-cycle-therapy-pct/

If that doesn't work, then I would get on testosterone replacement therapy that is prescribed by a doctor. If you are young, you might need to shop around to find a doctor who will prescribe you it but I wouldn't take your TRT into your own hands. Especially when you are young. Being on steroids for a long period of time, even just a TRT dosage puts you at a significantly elevated risk of developing prostate cancer. By getting the TRT from your doctor, you can regularly get blood work done to ensure everything is in the normal range and your health is good.

A lot of people start using gear as a way of leaving he awful realm of low testosterone.

If I would have to go on TRT, I would definitely blast and cruise

I know many guys who start using testosterone, be it TRT or cycling, because they had naturally low testosterone levels, and they just wanted to get their lifes back in line. It is quite frustrating to have naturally low test levels, since there are many downsides. So yeah - this is quite a frequent reason to start using exogeneus testosterone.
