dermacrine = acne?

I got one big zit on my chest while on the derma...good stuff, im on the sustain now.

I agree... probably not an allergic reaction, but something hormonal... the DHEA maybe? I got some acne from the original Derma and none from Sustain. I was willing to deal with the little bit of acne from the original formula since it made me feel pretty good.

I was gonna write something along these lines earlier but I chose not to...

This is what threw me when I initially read it. It read to me that the break outs where on back and shoulders (where he was applying the product). Then the breakout was accompanied by itch.

It is possible that low estrogen can decrease your "total load" and thus become more reactive to allergens. But if this is the case , then he is having an allergic reaction.

But I also know that many allergy doctors don't test for ethanol sensitivity I had an enviornmental doctor in Chicago who did test for chemical sensitivity, but I don't think the standard allergist will test for that

wait...........are you getting systemic type acne or acne where you apply the product. If the acne is everywhere it probably has little to do with the derma and just more associated with the hormonal change in your body.

When I applied original derma, I exclusively applied it to my lower stomach/abs and inside of thighs (vascular areas)... and broke out only on my back and shoulders ... so I took that as hormonal, not an allergic reaction

I hope its not either... The term "break out" means alot of things though in terms of skin conditions.

I remember that thread where people confused razor bumps with acne when they shaved

Mainly just acne where I apply the product. After applying the product to my stomach I even broke out a bit on my stomach... I've never had acne on my stomach before. I'm just gonna suck it up. As long as the acne doesn't get much worse I'll be fine. I'll just apply it mostly to my legs because they dont seem to break out as much. The itching usually comes right before the acne starts appearing. Like I said I'm used to acne while on but this is just different. Not a good explanation I know, but not sure how else to put it.

sorry man, i did not have any issues with acne using either Dermacrine, or the Sustain..

I do trim these areas.. don't bic them though. I'm not getting razor bumps if thats what you're thinking.. SpyWizard, you're probably right.. I'm probably just sensative to something in dermacrine. I probably should have just stuck with regular PCT but I wanted to give this stuff a try. Besides the acne and itching I don't have anything bad to report so far.. so atleast thats a positive.
