delt shots.. how to aspirate??

i tried injected in my delt yeseterday, and couldn't get the damn needle to aspirate, i couldnt get a hold on the syringe without the needle slidin all ove rthe place and finally some blood showed up in the syringe so i said fuck it, changed to a 1" and shot into my quad. any suggestions on how to aspirate a damn syringe with 1 hand?

Put thumb and ring finger on part of syringe that sticks out... and then pull back with middle finger on the plunger.

It's simple.

i'll have to practice.. my hand was just really shakey and the needle was movin all over the place.. thanks for the tip!

I hold it like a cigarette between my my middle and ring fingers and then flick back on the plunger with my thumb. Works ok, but after playing around with site injects, I will just be sticking to glutes and quads for IM injects.

Pecs are much easier; it's right in front of you.

me 3 on the pecs!! But back to the ? Dont expect to be able to pull back as much as you could for a quad shot. All you need to do is pull back just a tad because if you are in a vein or something then blood will come right it.

I have done shoulder inj for 3 years and I have hit blood in my shoulder like once, so the chances are slim.

Good question on the delts. Especially if you've got some size on your arms & delts. I can't do it. So, my wife does it for me

yea, it was difficult because of the awkward position my hand had to be in to get a good angle. I couldnt hold the damn syringe properly to push out the plunger while keeping the needle down. I have been practicin with a blank and i think i have it figured out, i'll let ya know..
