Interesting story. The moral? Delete your E-mails.

Becoming a widow at 43 was enough to rock Julie Metz's world. But the worst was yet to come, as she details in her book "Perfection."

Being widowed is a tough enough burden to bear, especially with a six-year-old child to care for. But for Julie Metz, the sudden death of her husband Henry was only the tip of the iceberg. After rummaging through is E-mails she was in for a shocker!
For years, Henry had betrayed their marriage, having several affairs, including a relationship with one of their friends.

Hope she's happy she went through a dead mans' email. Serves her right. Easy to invade someone's privacy when they're dead.

Before you guys blame her for breaches of confidence (lol), nowhere in that article did I see references to her sifting through his emails. Apparently her 'friends' informed her of his indiscretions months after his death.
Regardless, her book seems like a snooze fest on the power of forgiveness.

Stopped reading after that shite in the first paragraph about attaining perfection. Sounds like a fucking high maintenance lunatic.

Blame the original poster!
I cannot because I, too, struggle with this idea of perfection: Perfect bodies, relationships, kids, jobs, and houses. The pressure to be perfect creates misery and shame and ultimately leads myself to make poor choices as I try to hide parts of myself and my life which I feel is less than perfect. I had to confront that aspect of my life, and I wanted to find a way to redefine the word "perfection. So I cannot, NAY will not, lay blame at another's feet.

I understand. Not everyone can be perfect like me or puddle. I feel for people like you. You have feelings and emotions too and just want to get by in life and enjoy it like everyone else. More power to you my friend, more power to ya.

Smart girl!

I admit to changing it. Ya need to make things juicy to have people look.

BTW I am now qualified to work for CBS, NBC and ABC as their nightly news correspondent.
Pfft. No, you can't work for any one of the major media networks. You're too logical and not sensational enough. You need to be fabulous!
