However it is about half as powerful as test per mg.

Not forgetting that it screws up your hypothalamus as deca produces a progesterone-like effect and attaches to progesterone receptors, down-regulating your natural test production more than testosterone.

With higher test inhibition, post cycle recovery would be more difficult, esp on a deca-only or deca+fina+anadrol cycle.

Greater anabolic properties does not mean more size necessarily. There are many steroids that have greater anabolic properties than test, but do not yield the same size gains as test. Take tren for example...compare 500mg tren only to a 500mg test only 10 wk cycle and you'd see the greater size in the test user (assuming they are identical twins)
