holy shit what do I do about this. I never go out, I mean never. However tonight I went out to a local bar and there were several people that I knew there. Rewind, I have spent the last 6 months in the gym and 1 cycle(no parting or even going out, wake up work gym bed). So anyway I spent about 3 hours in this bar and had 4 different people, who I knew from before come up to me and say are you on roids out of nowhere. Added to this I had several women throw themselves at me(this is way out of norm), not the hottest ladies in the joint but they literally ask me to go home and fuck. Mind the fact I did't hit on or even approach them. ?= I plan to grow a lot in the future and if I am getting this now( the ? about roids) how do I handle it in the future? Not so much the bar scene as much as people knowing I'm pumping up really fast.

yeah, my sisters boyfriend was asking a couple of my buddies if i was on roids cause i was getting big so quick.......they told him i'm on a protein diet......lol

i like the fact that people notice that i'm getting bigger, but i hate how that just assume its the juice instead of my hard work and dedication....it gets aggervating especially when they say, "damn man, you on roids? hook me up, i want to get big like that" and they don't even workout

creatine and protein !!! and tell them you found a personal trainer that has really upped the quality of your workouts.....

creatine and protein !! that's what i say

This is exactly the deal. The only problem is with my job I can get popped, especially if guys are talking. Nomally it wouldn't be a probelm because I just simply don't like other people so I never go out. My problem lies in the fact that if people at the bar confront me than I know the guys at work are talking behing my back and that is where I'll get in trouble. EF and the workout/diet/sups have change my life, I just need to learn how to manage the new me. How do you guys deal with this.

Tell them to fuck off. Or do my favorite...this is sure to piss them off and get them thinking. Say "hmmm...what...dude i dont even work out..you crazy...the most i work out is " and then point at the beer your drinking. Tell them " good genetics i guess"

but it sure does feel good to have people notice !!

Ya it does feel good but I have a long way to go before I even consider myself somewhat content. Seriously this thread is about where I am going and not where I'm at. I know that I have the dedication and drive to get there but I don't have the knowledge to deal with it when I am there. Being really tall makes me stand out way more so I need to get my head on straight to deal with the down sides. I'm just looking for those answers from experience.

I agree this is probably the best approach for people that don't know me but the ones who do obviously know something is up. How do I deal with them?

I have a ways to go be4 i could anwser that question.

Radar get in here....

I love the looks i get after anwsering like that in a bar or something. Or when someone comes up to you to talk about working out. They go on about they work out here....and then they ask ...do you work out there too...Say...i dont work out dude seriously.

I would just tell your work buddys your on B-12 and Weight gainers, you train 2 hours/day and hired a personal trainer.

listen dont worry so much. when you first do roids people will comment on your size. it is a little nerveracking at first because you dont want people to know you are a juicer.

some people will know you are on the juice, some will suspect. most will forget about it two seconds later as they go on with their own lives and think of the person who really matters to them: themselves.

one of the cool things about getting older is you realize it means absolutely nothing what others peoplel say. when people put others down it is more about THEM than the person they are trashing.

after a while people will accept your new look. enjoy your newfound studliness. it feels great doesnt it?

Regular joes are very impressed with the term Personal Trainer. Its a big deal to them.
Sad part is around my house at all the gyms even the newbies are bigger and know more than most the PT's here.

yeah, around here we don't have personal trainers

got some gym bitches (18yr. old punks) who think they are trainers because they show fat bitches how to use the treadmills!

I hate the morons who walk all hard in the gym. I feel a pet peeve thread coming on it was geting stale in here :)

In your situation your best bet is to simply diffuse the situation by telling people exactly what they don't want to hear. Tell them you gave up your social life for 6 months and spent your free time training and being meticulous about your diet. Explain how you eat 40 grams of protien every 3 hrs and never miss a workout. Explain to them that they can do it to if they'd just give up all of the things in life that they enjoy too-which ain't gonna happen. This is passive aggressive at it's best. By explaining to them your hard work and discipline in detail, it will probably make them feel like shit that they don't possess the mental strength that you have to attain fitness. Avoid the topic of juice when it comes up-laugh it off-or make jokes about horses, etc. They'll be dying to hear that you use them-so deny it. It's not like they give a fuck about your health. They just wanna be able to gossip with others and say that they heard from your own mouth that you are a cheating, roid abusing, felon(not a great resume builder) so they can feel better about their own pathetic lives.

Personally, I just avoid contact with anyone that doesn't accept me for who I am. Fortunately I don't have a boss or coworkers to worry about-but I realize that most people don't have that luxury.

Still, prepare for the worst. It's coming. Almost everyone I know that has a job surrounded by fat ass, sedentary lifestyle types end up being persecuted by their coworkers and boss for being into fitness. Just the mere sight of you makes most of them want to cry. Revenge is sweet-but it's not gonna help you climb the corporate ladder any faster in most workplaces.

Women are literally throwing themselves at you in a bar saying come home and fuck me? What bars are you hanging out in, I never get that kind of luck :).

If you're worried about work: keep a tub of Creatine and a tub of protein powder with you at work in your desk or wherever. Make sure people see you eating protein bars. If you're ever invited to go out to lunch, politely decline, and say that you're eating just a protein shake. Keep a copy of a recent muscle comic laying around. That will give everybody enough of a "Plan B" that the 'roid talk will stop. You'll just be branded a "health nut" at work.

Yo.....I would get it often in the Civilian World. My answers would usually revolve around all of the "supps" and food I've been consuming....i.e...Multi's, creatine, glutamine, flax, whey and 4,500-5,000 calories a day.
Also, I'd let them know I was at the gym twice a day: Morning cardio and evening weights.

Now, your job......Your close bros really shouldn't say anything if you know what I mean. You're supposed to be one!!!!! If you spent time in the field for quite a long time, most likely you lost a ton of weight, so tell whomever that a rapid increase in weight is common in the first few months back.
:Chef:

These are all great answers and thanks for posting up. I agree with what you are saying glennds and know it is the truth, I'm just trying to avoid that rumor thing. I think BigCracker is pretty much right on for me and I will use the field stuff also CB. Thanks again everyone.

i do the same thing all the time. it's funny to look at the expression on their face when you bust out 8 perfect form military presses with 185 lbs.

to answer the question - who cares?

it's better to be noticed than not at all.

tell them you're doing yoga and pilates. most of the feedback you'll get from guys is rooted in jealousy, fear and self-loathing.

lol, spot on!!

I'm at work right now with 2 large tubs under my desk - one full of protein powder the other creatine EE. Protein bars stashed in desk drawer too... works everytime if i get questioned bout my physique...

I'm the "freak" in the office who is way too into his supps!! :mix:

Why does the roid question bother anyone ?

I freely admit it to anyone who asks ( except in the gym where my time is my time ) .

Roids don't build muscle all by themselves or we would all be massive ... what builds muscle is hard work and breaking the pain barrier over and over again ...

Situations like you described above is exactly the kind of thing i use in the gym for motivation .. after all .. it's a mind game when your fighting your own body .. who will win ? your will power or your body crying out to quit ?

Is just more ammunition for my gym bag .. :)

trust me if it wasn't for my job I wouldn't give a shit either, however my employer seems to be the number one ememy of gear so I really have to watch my ass on this one. It is very important for me to be fit but if I'm freakish than that is the exact opposite, appearance means a lot here. On top of that there is some very competitive that I work with and as sad as it may be some will try to bring you down in order to succeed.

I wouldnt buy it

but in all honestly its none of anyones business..

People arent idiots..sorry to say this and yes i realize im female and not doing 'cycle'
But we can tell when your on.. but in all seriousness..

Just tell them supp.. and protein creatine etc, ask them if they would like u to recomment a work out plan and diet and they might lose interest:P

Dude, I've been a walking advertisement for AAS for 15+ yrs. I used to be like you and tell people I take them. Well, word travels fast. Especially when the local gym dealer gets popped and tells the DEA that you're their # customer or worse, #1 supplier. It's like being a coke dealer/user with rocks/powder caught in his nostril hairs 24/7-not a good feeling to have when being questioned by cops. In the workplace it matters a lot too. What employer wants to have a felon (by their own admission no less) on their payroll???

Anyway, I'm so big now-anybody that has to ask me if I use roids doesn't deserve the truth in the 1st place. Does the shark shit in the ocean?

The protien powder in the workplace will make for a nice visual aid-but still be concerned when you're eating so that the aroma of your tuna-out of the can lunch or nuked broccoli and chicken breast doesn't stink up the whole office. It's stupid to have to be concerned with this, but if your job is what pays your bills/RX tab, you should be. Discrimination is alive and well and comes in many forms-don't make yourself an easy target. Everytime you stink up the office with healthy food(or worse, the farts it can cause) while others chow down on Big Macs you're not making friends. Good luck!

Come on, do you really think that I'm going to sit here and read all of your posts about hooking up all the time and not go get action myself? If so you are reading me all wrong. Speaking of how are you handling that situation with that girl, I mean are you going to let her think she has "a soldier away at training" for the next couple of months?

ya fortunatly for me right now the people who are close to me(see my meals, workouts, ect) are good people and don't give a shit. It is the peripheral people in my world who give me concern. They don't see my hard work, dedication, sacrifice on a daily basis, all they see is extreme change over long periods of time that causes the issue. I do feel a lot more prepared though after many of the responses here.

I think it's an American thing. Everybody here is always sizing themselves up against one another. I'd love to live in Canada-maybe you could marry me so I can get citizenship? :p

HAHAHAHAHAHAAaa! She called you out brutha! AHAHAHAHAHAHAaha! ;)

sfm onster ........... I understand your work situation and respect your need for privacy , we are all in different positions and what works for one does not work for all . Your friends noticing a difference in your form is a testiment to your hard work .. keep it up :)

bigcracker .... I understand your point of view totaly

I on the other hand live in canada where things are a bit more relaxed when it comes to roids and possesion of such drugs ..... The authorities here could care less about personal use , dealer weight is going to get you in a bit of hot water but nothing like what you'll face in the USA ..

So with that being said , i see what you mean

people dont ask ronnie or dexter or guys their size (not saying dexter is as big as ronnie) because they are too big, your solution keep on pumping, as far as the women go well lets get real thats no prob, I do have to say thou that it is rare for women who look good to walk up in general let alone say fuck

good luck

This is a fun thread, and I believe "the question" can be a serious matter for some folks that are concerned about their co-workers. There have been numerous threads about never tell your girlfreind you are juicing, because if she gets ticked at you, she may rat you out. Just seems impractical to be able to tell everybody that poses the question to either "f**k off" or "none of your business".

Nonetheless, good ideas/tips about leaving cans of tuna, creatine, various muscle building powders and weight gaining powders, and even testosterone boosters out on your desk at work.

One thing I always do is keep an ampule or vial of injectable B12 at the house so if my wife ever finds discarded syringes, I can say I am taking injectable B12 for energy and strength, and she fully supports and buys that response.

Another idea is to tell people you are doing Cybergenics........

in my experience those women are the same ones who'd blow the cable guy for free cable.

i'm amazed that people notice this shit.. I put on 40lbs this year from clean living, abstence and a good multi-vitamin and still the folks I know and work with don't say anything.

*MissFit* said:

This is partially true, I don't and that will work in most cases. The problem I'm dealing with here is things like last night when: I walk by a couple who I haven't talked to in 4 months, they yell out holy shit dave how many cycles of steroid have you done where a lot of people hear. First response is to jerk the fuckers out of the bar and validate their comment by ripping heads off, not a good thing for me because when I show up for work on Tue my supervisor will be standing there with the dudes head I ripped off and a piss bottle. That is just how it works here, thus I asked these experience guys on the best way to difuse the situation.

I think an additional problem I run into is my height. Very rarely do I go somewhere that has guys taller than me, thus I get noticed for that alone. Now thanks to a better lifestyle I have some size that draws attention. A large majority of EFers are way more built than I am, however very few are as tall.

I really think the question we have to deal with effects most of the people we don't want to deal with. The good people live their lives and stay out of others peoples life, it is how do you deal with the unwanted people that might have some sort of influence on our lives that becomes the issue?

I just tell them, when you spend as much money on supplements and as much time in the gym as I do then you can start assuming those type of questions but, untill then....fuck off. Works everytime.

Good for you bro. I hope you gave it to her good.
I think my lil' babe knows where I stand. I wouldn't expect her to wait around for me. We're not that close...yet. I wouldn't expect anyone, other than immediate family, to wait around for me. That just isn't right. I'll probably stay single until I attain my military goal...i.e. SF patch, confirmed kills, a few tours in the sand-box!!! :Chef:

Try carrying around a sheet of paper that details just one days worth of training, food, and spplements. When you show them the paper it's better recieved than the "creatine" response which most will call bullshit....behind your back.

If that's you in your avatar, you can't honestly tell me that you accept this as your fate??? There are exceptions to the rule-which I'm saying that you probably are-and it's not a coincidence that you're not American me thinks.

Traditional marriage balances different privileges and obligations for men and women. Modern woman wants all the benefits of "equality" without any of the responsibilities. They want special privileges from the traditional system (men paying, being "gentlemen" by using special deferential manners and language to women, being the main breadwinner, etc) but not the old-fashioned obligations (being modest and ladylike, being a housewife, etc).

They want the positives of equality (rights, equal access to work and education, etc) without the responsibilities (paying your own way financially a full 50% for life, taking risks with no safety net, and taking your lumps without complaint like men do...not expecting to be protected or sheltered from harsh reality, etc).

You can't take only the good from both systems...you have to take the bad with the good in any balance you strike. When women try to have their cake and eat it in this way, the bad doesn't disappear...it gets paid by men, and this is why the current culture is one of exploitation by selfish hypocritical women...and it's why men are tired of the inequity.

If American women chose one system or the other and took their full share of the bad with the good there would be no problem. But current American culture discourages women being looked at critically, instead projecting all blame unjustly onto men; and so the inequity is rationalized away.

This is why other cultures which haven't got this fucked up as far as gender relations go, start to look attractive. At least non American women usually expect to give as well as get-and they don't seem to let their appearance go as often either.

I agree with this, even though its off topic. lol. Another major perk that women like to keep from the old days is the legally unbalanced divorce. Back when men made all the money and had all the rights...and women were only supposed to clean and care for the kids...alimony and automatic child custody (with child support of course) for women actually made sense after a divorce. But those days have been over for awhile now. Equal means equal in my book.

holy shit what do I do about this.

I always jsut said I eat have been increasing calories and working out like a madman. The changes you go through will be less evident after you have been lifting for a longer time and have been cycling longer. I do get a bit of a yo-yo effect though, vary weight about 15 pounds, when I am off and on. You can always use the excuse that youre using certain supplements, the general public for the most part believes all of the marketing those companies use and thinks they really do work.

Excellent answer.

Women are literally throwing themselves at you in a bar saying come home and fuck me? What bars are you hanging out in, I never get that kind of luck :).
And bro, why did 4 different woman approach you and ask to fuck? By your own admission this is not normal for you. In that case you should have been bouncing the first girl that asked before the second even noticed you. You could have PIITB bro! What were you thinking?

Not what the thread was intended for but mainly it was unusual because I never go out. I just tend to find the women out at night not what I'm looking for, thus the reason not to leave with the first one available. Also it is important to know I am in NC not Florida or Cali, the quality of ladies here ahhhh, not so much.

i wen tot a pool party on july 4th this year. at the time i was in very good shape; about 230 lbs and 7-8%. spider web veins in my abs and all. for the first hour i didn't even take my shirt off, cause i just didn't feel like dealing with all the questions and hater ass bitches.

but after a while i was sweating my balls off, and was the only one who hadn't gotten in the pool, so i took my shirt off and got in. when i got out all these old ladies started freaking out, asking me if i was a stripper, how many hours a day did i work out, and of course were steroids involved in my appearance. i laughed it off and just changed the subject, trying to avoid the attention.

this is just what happens when you are around "normal" lard ass motherfuckers.

fuck em.

are you in law enforcement or something? if not, do you know how much a steroid test costs? most companies won't spring for one.
