deadlift/curl combo exercise?

I saw this bb-looking dude doing a deadlift with a cambered bar with 45's and then curling it(with a little cheat), and then returning the weight to the ground. does anyone see the benfits of this exercise? I would think one can gain some explsoive power from this... thoughts?:finger2:
 
any type of superset can be benificial to strength, power and shock factor...I just wonder if 135 on deads is enough, harldy any weight for mass.

I would do it with the dead bar seperate and then jump on to another bar for curls. Deads are great for Bi increase so i could see this working...might try it.
