Hey man, I have a car Q. What do you think of dropping the compression of my 433 from 14.5 to 7 or 8 and running twin turbos? I have Ported Brodix heads that flow 380cfm and a matched intake. There is now way I could run the cam because it was a supergas from Lunati that had like 272dur@050 and 722 lift. Its the same engine I told you got dynoed at 904 horsepower. What do you think of the idea and what kind of horsepower do you tink I could push? 11 or 1200 maybe? I've got the turbos but I got them for my boat. I have no idea how I'd ever get it to the ground once the engine was built.

That sounds like an outlaw motor. If you are serious.. send me the specs and I will dyno the motor for you on a desktop dyno. As far as building a car... I would think you could buy a Vega.. like mine. (I know where there is a Vega shell and a Chris Austin Tube Chassis Frame for $900)

That is a great idea.. but why tear down that motor. You need a car to put that thing in.

Wait.. you already have the turbos?... how about a de-stroked 454 with aluminum rods??

The 433 is a destroked 454. It has Manley H-beams now and they are new. I got the turbos off a boat with a big block chevy in it. They are simple with no intercooler but I think one could be added. They are quality turbos, PFM(Marine turbos). I bought them for the 460 in my JetBoat but the twin turbo idea wandered and got me thinking. I got the Super Gas motor because I was going to start racing. Then as usual, my brain overloaded my ass and I decided not to after I got prices and all the stuff I'd need. I still have a 900 horse supergas motor though with about 6 or 7 grand into it. Smart fuckin move on my part. Man, that tube frame sounds sweet. Too many bills at the moment though with too much stuff to do this yr still ahead.
