Hey bro's, I mailed out funds today via Express Mail. How long does it take for the tracking # to show up on there website? I mailed it out about 8 hours ago and the website says:

"There is no record of that item. If it was mailed recently, information may not yet be available. Please try again later."

Whenever I do it, they say that they update it every evening...so maybe if you sent it around your post office's closing time, they won't update it till the morning. By then it will probably be there though, so it will just say "package arrived at destination" or something like that.

If you send it priority mail with delivery confirmation it won't show up until the person on the other end receives it. That's when they scan letters. If it was a package however, they scan it in so you can track when it was picked up and dropped off. The letter u sent won't show up for 2-5 days until it reaches its destination where it will be scanned.

as i said, it was sent express. bro it will be there tommorow, not 2-5 days.

That's only if it was dropped into a mailbox man. If it was taken to a PO, then it should show up within a day, since it was scanned right threre at the PO. It is common for the Express Mail Packages to not show up as tracked until around 9 AM the next day, and even then it will only say "your item was received at" & then where it is at that time. It wont show up as "delivered" until the evening it actually gets there & logged in. UPS & Fed-Ex are WAY better as far as being able to track the item. You can track their items after sent, from each scan-in point, and it shows up on the Website almost immediately.

DO NOT USE ANYTHING BUT FED-EX, I've used all the others and had nothing but problems, even UPS was late one day (with GH on ice it makes a big difference)-I've NEVER had a problem with fed-ex

I am having USPS troubles as well. Things that should take 1-2 days are taking a week or more.

Given the climate of the day(post-9/11) and the fact that the USPS is a Government Agency who are more concerned with screening their packages than the private agencies, I would recommend using ONLY Fed-Ex or UPS. They are alot easier to track on their respective websites.

once when i sent funds, i got the package before it was even registered the funds arrived. don't worry it is sooo slow it is pitiful

I had a pack tracking #never even showed up at all on website even after a week it took to come to my door and I had the right confirm tracking #.
I never even use it fed-ex is accurate but I hear more seizure's as mailmen can open packs..

No shit the same thing just happen to me and the website wasn't able to find the tracking #.
