Shit was crazy, pops got a new snowmobile and that thing flies, was going down a hill at 70 hit a lip and flipped the bitch in mid air, i flew off the side of the hill in the brush and skidded about 30 yards, snow mobile wasnt messed up but it was about 60 yards down the hill from me. That was a rush but it didnt stop me later from almost hitting top speed at 95, thing goes 105.

meh, i doubt it goes that fast, sleds are notorious BS'ers on their spedometers.
i'd guess it was more like 70ish, unless you gps'ed the speed and know for sure.
what kinda maching and how many cubic centimeters is the motor?
i love riding

Polaris is a Minnesota company breh.

yep fail on my part i was thinking bombardier for some reason.
medina minnesota...i've had a few polaris' in my day...you ever go up to Upper michigan for riding? best trails in the midwest

Not yet, only ridden in Wisconsin, and some places around here. Pretty sick when u can ride 100 miles to some bar in the middle of nowhere grab a beer and a burger and dip to the next one

that's how it is in the UP, all the biz caters to sledheads...you can bar hop for days literally and not see the same trail.
check out hurley wisconsin if you wanna party, then head up to the keewanau penninsula, bunk down in houghton.
i bet your pops would know what's up with this region, where i am heading in a few days.

jiggs this the last polaris i was riding (same yr and model though just a pic i found)
rmk 800c 144", the beast could climb some hills

I rid one for the first time this weekend, it was just an older one 450cc I think, but for my first time it was plenty lol I hit about 60 and it scared the shit outa me haha

i ride a motorcycle but seems a sled would be scarier since its not on a road

yea i would imagine so. lots more logs/trees/animals/bullshit getting in the way as opposed to a paved road.

meh, logs and trees on a groomed trail isn't a worry...what kills bros is boozing and high speeds, moreso the high speeds.
only a dumbass goes riding offtrail without knowing the lay of the land.
drainage ditches, barbwire, stumps, all serious obstacles that kill

I stopped having snowmobiling fun when a tree tried to kill me. My friend was pulling me on one when I was on a little saucer. I hit ice and my thigh slammed into a tree.. Yeah never again...

please sign the e-form below , if you plan on continuing to travel 95 mph on a snowmobile, in the future.lol:biggrin::biggrin:

I Jiggagold being of sound mind and body hereby leave all my K to Arabian in the event of my demise, while hauling A%^ on my snowmobile...

barbed wire is also seriouslty unfuckingcool on a horse too if you don't know its there...i cant even imagine nailing it ona sled

we usually would hit trails, dirt roads and lakes on sleds....safer..hit it at night mid storm and you don't have to worry about cars/trucks (as much)

handwarmers and a helmet are pretty fuckin key as is a spare drive belt

bar hopping ona sled sounds absolutely awesome.....I shall begin planning this for next yr immediately

oh ya and a sleds speedo is complete horseshit

You can still get an OMVI from that shit...

you assume I'd be drinkin....I used to go bar hopping on my bike...never drink a drop
except ginger ale and cranberry :)

I've never ridden one ,but 600cc Bikes are capable of doing that,so be careful

a 600 cc bike has a lot less weight and friction than a sled does...two wheels on smooth pavement compared to 2 skis and a bigass rubber track

ive seen a few vids of people doing turbo setups on the 1000cc four strokes. all i can say is holy shit.

meh, not a fan of the 4 stroke machines, though i've never ridden one that was turbo'ed...too f'ing heavy and they bog down in deep fluff.
2 stroke 800cc with pipes, reeds, clutch kid and appropriate gearing, maybe dig the pistons out, port and polish...getting into the big boy 130ish hp range...add NOS and you're over 150hp, a fug load of power

how detuned is the r1 motor in the yamaha sled. that motor in a street bike makes more power then that stock. ive seen 400+hp turbo ones on youtube.
