Cycling and Creatine

Is there any point in using creatine during a cycle? Will it still work, will it be even better or it's just a waste?
 
It will still work and is recommended during a cycle. Creatine enhances protein synthesis, helps to inhibit protein breakdown and also raises the nitrogen balance in your muscles. GOOOOOOO CREATINE!

And get yourself some PureCEE, best stuff out there.
 
No, save it for PCT and during your "time off"... you'll reap better results from it then. And yes, try Purecee, good stuff!

Mikefear I do have to say I get a little sketchy of younger guys advice just because I know how I was back then. I thought I knew everything. But what I want to say to you is that after reading many of your posts over the past month or so I am impressed with what you do know! Thumbs up to you!

I try not to speak on anything that I haven't researched.. if there comes a topic in which I am not sure, I'll read and wait for people with real-world experiences. I will obviously not get to try everything, so speaking strictly from first-hand experiences would be a little too prudent; but like I said, if I am unsure, I'll do my research.

And I learn a lot from working here at Anafit - Ulter is a great guy with a TON of knowledge. He's been in the scene for a very long time.

UR Welcome they were deserved. After a while you start to know a few people in here and when they speak you do not have to question their knowledge quite as much anymore. It is good to learn who you can listen to advice instead of having to wonder if they really know what they are talking about or not!
 
why not just take creatine during your cycle, as well as pct???

I personally LOVE creatine while cycling.One of my favorites is anavar+creatine.It's like dumping gasoline on a fire in terms of strength/endurance for me.
 
Creatine post cycle helps retain and as most would hope it may help in continuing to gain when clearing the system. IMO it just makes sense to save a treat for yourself when ur getting clean. BTW i myslef hate creatine but it has worked for me and i know it still does work but i just don't like how dry i get even with the elevated water intake..
 
I have read it is recommended to also 'cycle' creatine, since your body will build tolerances to it like any other chemical. So, while running a cycle, the most sensible thing to do (for me anyways) is to:

Avg cycle length 10 weeks give or take

weeks 1-4 with

weeks 5-8 without

weeks 9-12 with

This gives boost during beginning, leaves no creatine weeks in middle of cycle so you will still be making gains, then takes you through the end of cycle for more gains and to help prevent PCT gain loss.

I like this.

The truth is that your body will absolutely soak up creatine and use it well during a cycle. I believe it is also well suited as a kick ass end of cycle/PCT supp.

I like the idea of starting a 12 week cycle with creatine, running it 6 weeks, then picking up at the very end of your cycle and running though PCT...

Dont be sorry nobody comes here knowing everything about all the products out there. I still do not know half of them myself. look for it in the AF store. Use bc's link he posted.
