Yo. I'm doing the Bill Phillips 4-day carb cycling plan. Seems fine so far, but here's a question for the cycling gurus: how much of a difference does it make if you cycle according to the schedule laid out as opposed to one's own training schedule (which somehow makes more sense)?
His plan is mod carbs, low carbs, low carbs, high carbs, repeat. Is MORE fat loss triggered by having 2 low carb days in a row? I train one on, one off mostly, so carbs would be mod carbs, low carbs, mod carbs, low carbs, with high carbs now and then. There wouldn't ever be 2 low carb days in a row.
Anyone done this? BTW - this is initial stages of contest diet.
