Agreed, I enjoy UFC but they are weak in the heavyweight division. BTW, This is news to me if true.

link......or I call bullshit. crocop's not going anywhere before he fights fedor again. I'd say he's not going anywhere till he "beats" fedor. Why would he go to the UFC? He might do a crossover fight......but why would he sign a contract with them? THe level of competition in the heavyweight division in pride is a whole nother universe compared to the UFC. Beating the top guys in the UFC wouldn't get him ready for a fight against a second tier heavyweight at pride. This would be a disasterous carreer move for him......good for the UFC of course, but for him? Not while he's in his prime.....no way.

Agreed. I can see him maybe cashing in for his last few years as a professional fighter in the UFC, and still being very successful. The well doesn't run that deep in the UFC.

Have there been any Pride HWs vs. UFC HWs that makes everyone on here so sure of that? The only person I can think of right now that was fighting for a HW title recently in either league is Mark Coleman, and he wasn't anything special at all in the UFC.

Just look at the skillset......the heavyweights in pride, skill wise, fight like the LHW's and lower classes of the UFC. And I'm not even going to discuss the power difference.

Silvia and arlovski are solid fighters.....but against Fedor? Unless either of them was holding something back in their title fights with each other......they don't have the speed, power, skill that the pride guy's do. It's such a disparity that I'm convinced pride guys are on performance enhancing drugs.....and lot's of them. Look at Barnett.....look at the difference in physique and athleticism and skill he's shown since going to pride. I mean, training with better guys will only go so far.......that boy is on something. It would be interesting to see what would happen if they stop testing UFC guys....???

Yeah, you're probably right, but its just so hard to say. Like how the Tigers looked so good all post season and everyone figured the would beat the Cardinals in 4 games. Then, once the two actually faced each other, all the expert opinions went out the window.
