Creatine..? wtf happened..

I took 5grams "pure" creatine this morning with about 10-12oz Pomegranate 100% juice..

I then started the rest of my morning routine.. cleaning the blended.. pan for eggs.. pan for chicken.. pan to boil eggs..

I started to feel "weird".. and "sick" ...

The thought crossed my mind that I may throw up..
I ignored it and began cooking for the day..

it got worse and worse.. heartburn got bad.. I tried sipping some milk to keep it down.. it helped for a few minutes.. then BAM.. I needed to throw up, bad..

I purged.. lost a good bit of the pom juice, but it looked partially digested, so maybe I got some out of it..

I had the same creatine yesterday morning in my shake.. and again that night after a workout in OJ...

wtf happened today?
Has this happened to anyone else?

Yo only puked the one time, but have used it several times?

This happens on rare occasion to me with anything.

Well yes.. this was the first puke..

I used it twice before.. both yesterday..

I will try it again tonight..

another thought I had is that maybe it doesn't go well with pomegranate? idk..

so did you puke again?
lol

I commonly get some very mild nausea from creatine. Some have speculated that it's because the creatine bits don't dissolve into the water solution at all, so it hits the stomach lining and literally acts like bits of sand in your stomach. This could definitely irritate the stomach lining and induce nausea. The taste of creatine alone makes me gag, but I like it's effects so I fight through it.

Bro even something as simple as Pomegrenate has a profile lol. Just do a search on it and you can find a lot

Pomegranate has been reported to cause nausea, vomiting, transient total blindness, hypersensitivity characterized by urticaria ("hives"), rhinorrhea (nasal discharge), red itchy eyes, and dyspnea (difficulty breathing).

In theory, the high tannin content may also cause liver toxicity or carcinogenicity. Use cautiously in patients with liver dysfunction and in patients on hepatotoxic drugs.

I highlighted the parts that stuck out to me when reading the profile on it

Damn thanks bro's, Needto.. I had no idea.. I'm losing Pom from my diet or taking like 1oz a day...

I tried it again, this time 1/4 tsp with OJ and it worked much better..

no puking again yet.. will bump if I do. lol
