Creatine while cutting?

Total waste of time? Could it help in not losing as much, or any muscle?

What do you guys think?

There is no reason to stop taking creatine, in my opinion, when switching from bulking to cutting or maintenance to cutting. You may find that you retain some water while taking creatine, but other than that most people will find that it helps with muscle endurance and helps you get a good pump. If creatine works for you, I personally would take it irregardless of what type of a diet you are on.

thanks for the info! i'll definately not stop taking it now. i should have used to ol' search function, as this question has been asked, but thanks for the response!

Creatine is utterly useless while cutting. First of all, you won't be training with enough intensity to warrant its use, unless you want muscle loss (disregard this if you're on AAS). Second, it may even prevent fat loss through several pathways.

I have used it everytime I cut. It helps you keep lifting the big weights, which should be the main goal of weighthlifting while cutting. If you were to stop before a cutting period, a lot of your lifts would drop even more than they would with a hypocaloric diet. Keep taking the creatine, cycle it out when you are just on a maintanence diet instead.

Are you kidding me? Unless you're on AAS, and especially if you're an ecto, you will lose muscle FAST if you keep lifting heavy. Lifting while cutting should strictlly be for maintenance, as in, 10-15 reps, medium intensity.
