Creatine: Strength gains, but when do you see noticeable differences in size?

Pretty much what the subject says. I'm not really considering it, I'm just curious. Myself, I blow enough cash on protein bars and shakes. I'm on a permanent bulk, only my calories are all the wrong kind and my workouts lack intensity. Anyway, just wondering when you creatine users noticed differences in your appearance.
 
creatine does not directly promote muscular growth.

gains in LBM can be obtained by the use of creatine by the effects that creatine has on ATP storage and production, muscle recovery and lactic acid buffering. all of the above "combined" with proper training a clean diet and plenty of rest will promote gains in LBM.
 
yeah. you will put on a couple of pound during your creatine cycle though. seeing as you will hold more water. but most of that will also go away when you cycle off it
