Creatine making me feel like shit

I started taking creatine for the first time EVER 8 days ago... I weighed myself today, and was 7 pounds heavier from the water.

I feel like I slosh when I walk.


Should I quit taking it? will it get better? what should I do? I feel like shit.
 
i have the same problem from taking creatine... but i still do it.

imagine playing basketball when ur on creatine, its a biatch.
 
I always had muscle pulls or strains from taking creatine. Besides creatine, causes some digestive distress that I didn't like.

You should be consuming at least 2 gallons of water per day.
 
Two gallons???

Anyway, you should drink a lot (at least one). Tell us how you are using the creatine.
 
First week I took 5g/4times a day for a total of 20g/day
second week 4g/ before AND after workout for a total of 8g/day

I stepped on the scales and got SOOO depressed at how much I weighed, and then I read on this board that alot of people get shocked like that.
 
The title of this thread almost exactly describes how creatine makes me feel. I would only insert "I need to" between the last two words.
