Creatine and kidneys

Does creatine cause kidney problems? I have seen avideo on youtube, where they mentioned creatine as one of the thingsthat can negatively affect the kidneys. How much creatine would be asafe dosage in order to avoid this sort of problems?

The answer is rather simple - if you use the right dosages, and take a break from time to time, creatine should be absolutely safe. After all, you get creatine from food as well, so it is not something completely artificial. So have no worries, and keep using that creatine, as it will give real benefits.

they will show up in blood work as affecting your kidney's but that is like saying eating a chocolate cake before a glucose test won't affect your glucose!

that is why they say to fast ahead of a test. stop the creatine a week before your test and stop lifting about 4-5 days ahead of time if you want accuracy otherwise it will show up

Creatine is safe on the kidneys. It will create a false reading on a blood test that your kidneys are stressed. If you want real numbers, stop taking creatine for 2 weeks and then get blood work.
