Definetly sounds like a group of unprofessional bouncers. I think the better ones just subdue you and then call the cops and have your ass hauled off. But then again, I've never been a bouncer so I don't know how I would handle someone talking shit to me in my bar, ruining my customer's good times.

Actually, it sounds like you're lucky that all you got was a broken nose.

fro got that right. same thing happened to us on a bachelor party. we were at parkway tavern and the groom to be wanted to hear SHOUT from Animal House. Now this is kind of a college bar that plays all kinds of shit. They've played SHOUT before. The DJ was a big fat pussy and started calling the groom to be a pussy over the mic. well we didnt want to start a bunch of shit because the place was packed and we had about 20 of us spread out in there and it would have been hell to find everyone. so we start to file out and regroup at the door to leave. about 6 of us started to walk out toward the next bar when the bouncers (12 of them) came outside on the street and started following us and taunting and provoking. we got into it and 2 of my buds got beat pretty good. after they went back inside, we regrouped, went back in and found the rest of our group. when the bouncers saw us inside, they started fighting with us again. this time we had all 20 of us in there and they started getting hit from every direction. it was a fucking madhouse. i was with some badass fighters and we beat the shit out them. it didnt last long. right after, 2 of our guys jumped over the bar and started tossing out free beer to everyone in the house and then we grabbed as much as we could, piled onto our bus and hauled ass. Good for those fuckers. they only started the fight because they thought they had the numbers. WRONG!

I've been a bouncer for two and a half years. We always back each other man, that's just how it's done- it's a job for us, not a proving ground, so we do what we have to to kick the person(s) out. I do try to avoid striking, though.

I would say, however, that those guys were wrong. For one thing, you were already out the door. For another, they should be able to handle someone talking shit to them without jumping on them and getting physical. As a bouncer, you get mouthed an awful lot, and you just have to take it. It should never have come to a physical altercation if the person is on there way out, no matter how much they're shit-talking. They should have let you spout off, grinned, and waved good bye.

We would not be cowards since it would be easily 10 on 10. I will take our ten any day though.........When we were getting beat down there was EASILY 10-15 guys out there and 2 of us. I saw at least 10 before I was put out and when I woke up there were guys everywhere that most likely took part in the event

Thing is I live in MA it happened in FL so I have to chalk it up as a bad experience, but I did think of getting some friends togeather and taking a little vaca but it really is not possible

bouncers seem to be really cool or they are complete cocks. if you are leaving a club and have been drinking they should not respond to name calling or shit like that, professionals know to laugh at that, as long as your not physically threatning anyone. problem is ther are so many bullshit clubs and bars and they hire all these barnies and most, not all, are bitches, they do a little gear and now ther bad asses. now you know to just leve and swallow your pride now matter how much it stings, its just not worth it.

BTW,, I forgot to say when i was in the ambulence they kept aking me if I used steroids ? ? ? ? I am not a big guy by any means I am 5'8 around 195 10-13%. If i had better genetics that could be nat easily. That just struck me as Odd.
