Contest progress pics

Here we go, as much as this pains me, I'm going to post my progress pics leading up to my first contest..............My biggest problem so far has been posing, it is a lot harder that I expected it to be. I am working with my friend who competes to try & get it right. It's kinda hard to correct yourself, especially when you're trying to pull yourself away from the mirror since there wont be one to look into on stage. Suggestions welcome.


14 weeks out 6'5" 247lbs @ 8.6%BF

5% Are you shittin me? If you believe that then I think you are about 90% on crack about 90% of the time. LOL I'm quite certain my BF% are pretty damn accurate as Quadsweep is the one doing them & given the fact that he has had two people go pro & has a shit load of clients, I'd have to say he knows what he's talking about. Now my posing my suck & I may be holding some water but I think you are way off bud.

im not calling you a liar, but your bf%'s seem to be a bit off...

that and your calves need some work... other than that lookin great!
 
Not bad supertech !!! couple of suggestions for you

1. bring up the traps big time
2. shoulders, shoulders and more shoulders

ok maybe a few more.....

3. posing is so VERY, VERY, VERY important... perfect this and it will work wonders for you.

I have more but let's start here.

Great progress in dropping the BF supertec!! Looking great. I'd say perhaps a bit more mass in the arms but overall excellent work. Good luck ! :)
 
I appreciate the comments & suggestions. This contest was more of a where do I stand now & what all do I need to work on type thing. I hate my arms, I have gotten them to grow a bit since I decided to do the competition but, obviously nowhere near where they should be.

I wish I had started this at a much earlier age. I didn't start untill I was 25 & I am now 30 so maybe this is more of a midlife chrisis thing. LOL I suppose it beats going out & buying some expensive ass sports car & a tupe or something. I started by following the advice of a lot of people to concentrate on major mass areas (back/legs/chest) then worry about bringing everything else up. I do want to continue to grow & eventually do another competition but, I am going to take 2 or 3 yrs off from being lean & solely work on getting thick while I go back to school for my degree. I mostly want to make sure that I am never ever as skinny as I was when I graduated HS again. When I graduated 12yrs ago I was 6'5 around 170lbs. I usually run around 250 now & have been as heavy as 268 but, it was sloppy.

I will be posing daily these last few weeks & hopefully several times with a coach. I know how important this is and realize it can make a small guy look big or a big guy look small. I have worked my ass off on everything else & intend to put 110% into posing as well. I don't want to have passed up pizza and bread & beer & pasta & ....for the past 15 weeks for nothing!:D

Oh yeah, & I am currently running 75mg fina EOD, 50mg winnie ED, 300mg primo PW, 25mg proviron ED, 60mcg clen ED & 20mg nolva ED
 
Nice job cutting. What do you think you'll end up weighing? I have a show on march 20, so I can definitely appreciate the stage of the game that you're at now. Good luck, I hope you'll let us know how you do.

I think you look great, leaning out very nicely...my only suggestion would be that your shoulders need a little more attention. Looks good!

then you must be right. going by your pics and comparing them to myself i must be around 7%bf then. crazy to think i was 12% when i had an electrical impedence test. but since quadsweep did them, you must be right.

No problem bro, If that is one of those resistance type things, they have potential to be way off. I did one of those stupid hand held ones (if that's the same thing?) & it came out as 21.6% less than 24hrs before Quad did mine with calipers & it was actually 8.6% I believe those have a lot to do with hydration as well. I look leaner than those pics show. I have veins showing up in my sides & back now but, I guess without the proper lighting it's hard to tell.
 
thats an aweseme transformation. The bf seemed to be off in the 1st couple pics but not anymore. maybe it ws the lighting holding water etc u know how it is. Either way great job bro. good luck

Well, I got hit with a stomach flu or some shit for about 3 or 4 days making it hard to get food down so I dropped a few unplanned lbs. I am currently at 228lbs and had hoped to come in over 225 but, it looks like hat's not gonna happen unless I somehow wake up with a few more lbs of muscle withing the next few mornings :) I'm guessing I'll be between 223-225 but, this being my first show, I have no idea what happens the last couple days. I had really hoped to stay over 225 so I'd make the superHvy class due to my height. Maybe I can nail it for the 2nd show two weeks later, this first one is more of a warm up.

Since I am about to run out of fina & have to make some more, I am going to bump my fina dose up to 75mgED instead of EOD, maybe that'll produce a bit, or at least allow me to hold onto more. I have also bumped my winnie up to 75mgED from 50mgED for the last couple weeks.

How tall are you? You have definitely made some good progress and you have the right dude in your corner. I'd say that you are probably lean enough to go to 50 mg of winny. Do you have tabs or are you shooting? Are you gonna run any masteron? PM me if you'd rather.

I would say you do look to be around 8% range - as back in coming in as well as midsection, where males typically hold BF. Yes, posing is most difficult, but posing & stretching will help make your muscles harder and provide more seperation. Also, when posing in front of mirror - look to make sure you have the correct stance then close your eyes.. after a couple times doing this - reverse and hit pose without looking in mirror then open your eyes to check it. You definately have to feel it. And always pose from your legs up. You look good so keep on working toward your goal. I wish you the best of luck!
