Contest Prep... Clen, Var, Xenadrine RFA-1

I will be starting to cut down for my upcoming contest this April. My diet will be 200% in check. Please dont say...I dont reccomend clen, whats your stats, etc...etc...I will be doing this cycle regardless. Just looking for help on dosages etc...Will be running...

---5mg Anavar ED (bump to 10 if not sides) 10 weeks.
---Clen

Maybe Xenadrine RFA-1 but not sure if its worth it.


I have been looking into Clen and Xenadrine RFA-1. Xenadrine RFA-1 is the original version before the Ban.

*335 mg ma huang(20 mg of ephedra)
*910 mg of guarana seed extract (200 mgcaffeine)
*85 mg of Citrus aurantium (bitter orange)
*5 mg of synephrine alkaloids
*105 mg of white willow bark (15 mg salicin)
*50 mg of ginger root
*225 mg of a proprietary blend

What do you reccomend for
 
Where can you find Xenadrine RFA-1? I thought they stopped manufacturing it. If you can find it may be expired and the potentcy has deteriorated.
 
LOL -- that was the original non-request. :)

As far as using Xenadrine or any other OTC thermo, don't run it at the same time as the clen but rather on the 2 off weeks. They hit different receptors than clen so will still give you a chance to recover from the 2 weeks on clen.

Include taurine & drink a shit load of water to avoid cramps.

Not to mention that EVERYONE needs critiquing and advice, no matter how "in check" they think they are. It is ridiculous to think otherwise.

Oh shit I didn't read that LOL just a knee jerk thing to post cause well it is true stack wont do a dam thing with all that info. Also clen is relativly in effective tell below 17% bf but if she knows everything then why bother asking for help right. :)

Exactly, which is why I have nothing to say, no advice to give. :)

Plus, I think Clen sucks anyway. There are legal things that give MUCH better results. Clen is up there with T3 in my opinion - useless. AF store beats most thermos and metabolic boosters - hands down.

Also, it is hard, no - impossible, to give useful advice on AAS and doses without knowing stats and current diet and training.

But that is not what she wants to hear. :) So I'll shut up now. :)

For reference, since we haven't seen you on in a while, it would help to give us some idea of where you are at:

As far as whether or not you think xenadrine is worth it - some relevant factors would be how lean are you now? are you employing things like carb rotatoin & other diet manipulations to get you to your goal, and some of the other stuff the girls mentioned. Even if it wasn't your specific question, the context is important to quality of the responses you will get.

We ask those questions not to make you repeat the whole litany of things, but to be thorough. Lots of girls come on here & want to know the dosages of drugs that their boyfriend said woudl lean them out, but there are so many other aspects of contest prep that can be addressed. We think much bigger than "what dose of clen" or whatever. Since you are dealign w/ controlled substances that, especiallly for women, can have very individual sides, the best knowledge you can get is from people have done what you are trying to do.

So at the rate you were dropping bodyfat between aug/sep & November, I'd guess you are around 18% now?
 
Thanks so much for the replies. I decided to just do the Var (10 wks) and the rest I will just do by manipulating my diet. I am home on break right now and sick at the moment....
My training is still in check and my diet is getting cleaned up right now as well...this is an example of what Im eating:

meal one:2scoop protein and 1/2cup oatmea
-gym
meal 2: grilled chicken breast, whole wheat pita, grilled orange bell pepper
meal 3: shake
meal 4: handful of nuts (either peanuts, cashews, or almonds)
meal 5: can of tuna and veggies or grilled turkey pattie w/ veggies

***This is just an example.As far as all the other shit I was thinking about doing, I've decided to just use my diet as the best fat burner there is. I will be working side by side with 2 trainers(whom both have competed) and will have a strict diet and exercise plan. I was asking about the other stuff b/c this will be my first show and I was worried about the lack of energy...i.e. : not enough cals for the work load. I guess I just have to trust the people who will be working with me. ...Im just nervous. I will post a log as soon as I get back to school and find out what the diet and all the other stuff is (2-4wks). I am also doing underwater bf analysis, and various skin fold tests.
Thanks again for everyones time, Im looking forward to being on the boards a lot more and just getting through the competition prep days.
On another note, I am SOOO pissed that I am sick. :evil: I have no clue what it is, my thorat is alll dry and scratchy and I have no apetite or energy. I went to the gym yesterday and freaking forced my self to work out. I puked like 3 times and could not barely do any weight. Im debating whether I should go in today....I wanna explode b.c I know I feel bad that I possibly wont go, but then again, if I go, my workout will suck and I might get sicker....what to do?

Aries if you worried about energy pick up some OTC fat burners. If you do carb cycling at all or have any very low carb days you WILL need them trust me from experience. With trainers I understand the hesitation to post your diet cause some is giving you there advice and that is what you are following. Very smart to drop the clen seriously from experience and ECA stack does more IMO and none of the sides the clen gives you. It sucks that your sick I got sick near the end of my first contest prep. Best adivce is drink a shit load of water and vitamin C in Canada we have this supplement called Cold FX pretty sure it is not in the US but basically you take if you feel something coming on and it kills it.

Thanks sooo much for the feedback. I am feeling like shit one minute and then 2 minutes later I feel normal...Ive never been sick like that before. Its almost like I am like a step into a sickness ...weird
Im downing the Vitamin C and Im on my 2nd liter of water. Hopefully my body will beat this . I guess when it comes down to it, Id rather get sick RIGHT NOW and miss some gym time than 2 or 3 weeks out from the contest. I just finished bulking. I wanted to add that my stats have stayed somewhat the same and now im just what my workout partner calls it "maintaining". I do however get mad every now and then, well actually almost every day, that my jeans dont fit and that my biceps dont fit in my cute little shirts anymore. LOL
I guess thats what bulking does, but I cant wait to just cut up and see all this work I've put in.

I'm sick too... hate to actually admit it though, makes me feel defeated.
Emergency-C is making me feel better. I have been downing 4 packets a day, also green tea, the real stuff, Sen-Cha.
I went to the gym 3 days ago and it made it worse. now it's in my chest too. :worried: feels like my lungs and throat were attacked by a belt sander.
 
I guess i feel better knowing that Im not alone in this. Its like eating me away that I cant go to the gym. Hopefully skipping today will make me stronger for tomorrow. I better be able to go tomorrow....Its just so weird that its like an on-and-off sickness. And this whole no apetite thing really sucks. My throat feels better....I just woke up from a 2 hour nap and I feel like a new individual.
 
Sorry to hear that Aries- however, 'tis the season .... :(

Yes definitely take the time off if that is what your body is asking of you. Recovery is the forgotten part of training... If you don't allow appropriate recovery in your schedule, due to training, health or whatever, your body will simply MAKE you take the time.

Amen to that I tried to work through my flu well not only did I almost start crying cause I had the shittiest leg work out of my life but the two days to follow me pushing myself to go to the gym were spent in bed sleeping in between going to the bathroom :worried:

Damn...just woke up and I feel worse than yesterday. I wanna go work out sooo bad but it aint gonna happen. I got my boyfriend sick too and now he's bitching about the same thing. I cant wait to get better.....

I was gonna just say, being a girl and all, that I got so depressed yesterday b/c my boyfriend's mom(along w/ my mom a few weeks ago) asked me why "I gained so much weight".....I wanted to die!!!! I know I know, I just finished bulking but its still hard to accept that my freaking body got a lot bigger.....like I said..I went from 130lbs 29%bf to 148lbs and 21%bf......I gained weight and I was supposed to, but now being sick and not being able to work out and hearing the words "why did you get fatter?" kinda killed me.....I cried like a bitch....anyone know where I'm coming from>????

Don't give it too much energy. Think of it as a phase in your overall program. You have to allow for shit to happen. No one can stay tip top 24/7 365 a year.
Muscle has memory, your rest will probably end up benefiting you more than you think, especially if you have not rested in the past few months. It's good to take at least a week off, after every 12 weeks of training.
Tell the Mom's you have been enjoying the holidays, and all the wonderful food they have been making!!! It's your winter coat... skinny is out, j/k!
Use the down time for other things, (time is a blessing and a luxury). :)
Dont worry you'll bounce back stronger.

Thanks you guys....it feels a lot better hearing that!!!! Its just that I know that I am supposed to gain weight b/c i was building muscle, but my clothes dont fit now a days and it sucks b/c I feel like a lard ass. I just cant wait to start the cutting diet and training...so for my show in April they can come and see all my hard work ....
Im working out the sickness...i sweated balls when I took a nap today ...and when I wome up I felt so much better. Ill give my self one more day (hopefully) and then ill be back in the gym....cant wait

Anyone got any good new years resolutions??? I've decided to work on my self esteem and trying to love my self a little bit more...kinda take it easy and not be so hard on my self. I got major body image issues....
