Anavar and Clen???Yes or no???

Hello all you beautiful ladies of EF!!! Where to start..ok..well, I just recently got into weight lifting. Before that, I was all about the high reps/low weight work outs. Then, I decided to ditch the "pink weights" and do some real work. When I first started (3 months ago) , I was 138lbs and 29%BF. I checked in yesterday and I am at 148lbs and 21%BF. I will compete for the first time April 2006!!! I have trainers who will be working with me and helping me with the 12week cutting diet and workout. That I will post in Febryary. Right now, I am trying to decide whether I should do Anavar and Clen. I wanted to ask opinions before I actually spend the hours researching both of those drugs. My boyfriend is assuring me to at least do the Anavar (5mg/day)for 10 wks. but I am unsure of Clen. I was told that it will shed my weight for the show but it will put it on just as fast and more than it shed. Is this the case? Also, what do you think of Anavar?
Here's my training as of right now:
Mon:Chest/Tris 4sets/6-10 reps, 20-30 min cardio and abs
Tues:Back/Bis 4sets 8-12 reps,20-30 min cardio and abs
Wed: Legs/Shoulders 4sets/6-12 reps , calves and abs
Thurs: rest
AND START ALL OVER AGAIN ON FRIDAY!!!

hey girl! welcome & congrats on your progress!

First, I want to point out the importance of your diet , above & beyond EVERYTHING. Can you post up what you are eating right now.

As far as your progress - I understand that you just started 3 months ago. IMO you shouldn't even be looking at AAS until after at least 1 yr of real solid diet & training. I ***HIGHLY*** recommend you read everything you can find on the web about anavar. The sides are not bad, though unique to each person, but you need to understand the sides & have a tight diet & training around it. Var and anything else are nothing more than SUPPLEMENTS to a 1000% solid diet & training.

A couple questions to set the context:
1) What is your height?
2) What are you planning to compete in ? (NPC? figure? fitness? bodybuilding?)

My comments in general:

- why abs 3x in a row? abs are a muscle group just like bis, tris, etc. Do you allow at least 24-48 hrs to recover for each of those muscle groups? Shoudl do the same for abs. Your "6 pack" will not show up after thousands of crunches - its all about the diet. You need to lose the bodyfat above your abs before your ab muscles will show.

- clen - personally i hate the stuff. I'd stick w/ ECA for now. Clen I personally think is overrated as a fat burner for the sides that come w/ it. Also you can manipulate your diet to drop bodyfat + cardio.

Thanks so much..well Im 5'4" tall. My diet is "roughly" 40-40-20 right now.
I eat high protein and carbs, low fat(nuts, avocados, onlive oil..etc.)
I do have the occasional days when I do not eat like this 100% but i do most of the time. Conetest time, the diet will 110%...I am prepared to do the work ahead of me and I know that the diet will be the best answer in the end. I will post my "countdown to competition" log in February!!! I will include everything then as well(along with pictures). As far as the 3 days of abs, I know what u are saying, I was giving an estimate. If I am sore the next day, which I usually am, I skip the abs. If I dont feel a thing from the day before, Ill add in maybe 2-3 pilates ab exercises just to keep them in line. I know it wont matter untill my BF is low anyway, and I add some weight to those ab exercises. I am competeing for a general body building contest leaning more towards fitness b.c I am natural, so as big as I can get without any help from science . Thanks again!

I guess if you can right now -- spend the next month or two eating to build muscle & then start your cut.
 
So go ahead with the Anavar..see how it works for me??? Maybe try the 5mg/day and if nothing happens increase to 2 doses of 4mg/2Xday or 5mg/2Xday. The Anavar is liquid from a legit source. I am just trying to see the knowledge outhere. I know that that stuff is illegal in the States but I am in Europe at the time for a study abroad program and I am doing the show here as well.
As far as clen, thanks for the advice. I will rely on diet as the main source of the way I will look 4 the competition but maybe the Anavar could benefit me. What do you think? :qt:
 
Start with 5mg for a couple weeks and then if you're not see any results then go to 10mg/day. Don't go higher. Clen is very individual you should read up on what some other girls your size have used. I suggest you consider Sesamax/Thermorexin/Glucorell before Clen though. You can get those at the AF Store for Europeans.
 
Most people think of var as a "Cutting Drug", however the drug will do whatever it does in response to your diet. If you are right now doing a hi protein / higher carb diet (which looks like a bulking diet to me - which seems to be what you want right now), then var will help you train harder, recover more. If you are eating to build, then I'd say go w/ the var now and just train like a mofo to get the most out of your "off season" time.

If you plan to use anything during the 12 week cutting phases, I'd start looking at that schedule just so you don't end up cycling the var forever. I.e. Plan your cycles / cycle your plan.
 
Many are still saying that I would benefit more from it during my cutter (12 weeks). Ill try that out and see what happens. Thanks for all your help. Any more comments would be appreciated. Thanks.
