Contest day-need diet help

I need some contest prep diet help. A g/f is competing in her first bb show this weekend. She's been on low carb diet for last 9 days - will stay on low carb until Friday night.
Then, we'll start carb-up Friday night - baked potatos, yams. Saturday morning, more
carb-up -pancakes with syrup, potato. Keep water intake low. Pre-judging at 12:00,
then Finals at 6pm.

My questions are:
1. What do you think about our carb-up plan?
2. What should water intake be Friday and Saturday?
3. Thoughts on sodium intake on Saturday?
4. What should she eat between Pre-judging and Finals, and how much water?

I don't really know, because I'm only doing my first show in May, but I'd suggest, from what I've heard, that your carb-up starts too late - it takes, I think, up to 72 hours for the carbs to fully refill the glycogen stores in the muscles (depending on the person), so your girl's going to be flat on the day, and beautiful on the next or even day after next.

I don't know how the previous weeks of low-carb dieting would affect this, though, if at all.
 
How does her body react to high GI carbs? Is she prone to water retention? It's gonna be extremely difficult for her to nail her best condition if this is her first try at carb loading/water depletion, etc. Everyone reacts differently.
1. I definitely think she should carb up more than a few hours
2. Not sure enough to give you an answer
3. ? Has she been sodium depleting?
4. Not too much water, and have her eat anything that won't leave her bloated, maybe some chicken, yams, nat. PB. Just not too much.
Like I said, hitting it on the frist try will be tough. Good Luck.

carb-up much earlier; need to keep water intake low all contest day.
