Checking your partner's email is a shady thing to do... and I admit to doing it on a few occasions. However, I never would have looked if I hadn't already seen other signs that he was a cheater.

I'll never understand why those who cheat are so stupid. Have the emails sent to work. Only give out a work number. Don't bring the shit home. You'd think that since their success depended on them being able to keep shit a secret they would be more vigilant about not allowing access.

As for your friend... I'm sorry he is in such a rotten position now. I hope he doesn't end up with a serious illness due to this.
