yeah me neither...It starts with L not sure on the numbers but I believe there was the 350 and 3-396 options.


My brother knows a lot more about them, he had a 68 and a 69.

true...but weren't most of the 68's 396's? Werent there like 4 option packages and only one of them had the 350?

That is correct. The odd man out was and is my fave...the 327. Best displacement for weight ratio. but that 396 will snap your neck off the line!

And I hate you guys for bringing this up. After my first year in the Corps I saved up enough to buy my dream car...69' Chevelle SS. Black on black and had been exquisitely cared for. Sold it after my wife got preggers. I would kill to have that car back now! Bought it for $6500. Sold it for $7200. That car would be worth over $25k right now and would be priceless to me. Enjoy the hell out of it SB! Thats quite a ride!
