Coming back from a LOONG injury

I've been on crutches for 10 weeks from an ankle injury and haven't been able to do any lower body lifts because I can't put ANY pressure on it. Back in June of 08, I could squat 500 and dead about 450
They told me I'll be back 100% after rehab for my leg and I should be back in the gym mid-may. I haven't been able to walk without crutches since october 08 and starting monday I'll be allowed to walk with a boot, but not work out.

So my question is
does anyone know about how long it should be before I am back to where I was before this ordeal? It's frustrating as anything because I lost sooo much time to get stronger

by the way im sixteen, i don't know if it matters

Being 16 helps. You have youth and a lot of natural testosterone floating around your body.

While I have never been laid up as long as you, I have training friends who have. Generally speaking it can take some time since you have to ease yourself back into it. However, it will not take you as long to get to where you were as it did for you to get there in the first place. The main thing is to make sure you do not re-injure yourself. You have your whole life in front of you to get it all back and then some. Be patient and take your time.

Yeah bro, what bblazer said, dont expect to be really strong and rush back into it, november 08 I deadlifted 242x6, hurt my back boxing and didnt deadlift for about 8 weeks now after about 6 weeks of deadlifting Im at 237x5b, its amazing how fast you loose strength :( But i guess its differant with everyone, I no a guy who didnt deadlift for 2 or 3 months and went back to pulling singles with only like 15lbs less than before...
