Color coding terrorist threats. Great idea if I ever head one.

Not too far off from now people are going to look back at the color coded system for possible terrorist threats and laugh. The hysteria remind anyone of those shots on TV where these kids during the Cold War climb under their desks thinking that if a nuke hits the school while they curl up below their desks, that they will be fine? Anyone? I sincerely hope all nothing happens (with the exception of Gonelifting) but does this color thing seem a little…useless? People can't even get traffic lights straight and there are only 3 colors on those lights. I have brilliant idea, how about we combine a color by number with the possible threat of a major attack on United States soil. Any takers?

You guys in NY, did you know you are at the ever threatened "Orange" level? Anyone scared right now?

I'm in the southern east coast the threat here is "Mellow Yellow"
(Takes a hit!) Ahhh!

I do not keep up with this shit. The last time it affected my life, I must not have been aware of it.

Have seen pictures of kids ducked under tables, prepping for a nuke attack. Quite effective, as if the hands of god himself were wrapped around you.

im a guy from canada but, i think that any free and great nation should be on alert because of these religious maniacs. and i think that the security people are thwarting a lot of things we dont see.

you see no destruction, that doesnt mean theres no threat. it means someone is doing their job.

Well it would be nice of them to report something at least, just so its not a series of color alerts called out every holiday with no result, no confirmation of anything at all usually, it gets to seem pretty pointless after a while.
