Class-I & II, why?

Class-I-These are steroids who's primary influence on anabolism is achieved through aggressive binding and activation of the androgen receptor...Examples of potent class-I's are-Deca-durabolin,primobolan,equipoise,oxandrolone...

Class-II-These are compounds with potent activity independent of A/R binding/activation,and their activity has been monitored in neuron's,microsomes,mitochondria,etc...Examples of potent class-II's are-Anadrol,Dianabol,winstrol,Fluoxymesterone...

Why do you classify Equipoise in Class I while Dianabol in Class II, I mean Equipoise is the same as Dianabol (androsta-1.4-dien-3-one)just the difference in methylation and esterification only

and do all Class II Steroids should be 17 Alpha alkylated Steroids! :confused:

Boldenone Undeclylenate is 1, 4-ANDROSTADIEN-17b- OL-3-ONE UNDECLYLENATE

Methandrostenolon is 1, 4-ANDROSTADIEN-17a- METHYL-17b- OL-3-ONE

1-Testosterone is 1, 4-ANDROSTADIEN-17b- OL-3-ONE

Notice how Boldenone Undeclylenate and Methandrostenolon both are metaboiltes of 1-Testosterone. Furtheremore notice that the Boldenone Undeclylenate is an ester of 1-testoterone. In fact 1-testosterone is Boldenone and vice versa. With Methandrostenolon it has a methyl gorup before the OL-3-ONE group. This makes a huge diffrence and changes the properties of the drug. Compare Testosterone to Epitestosterone, 4-ANDROSTEN-17b- OL-3-ONE, 4-ANDROSTEN-17a- OL-3-ONE. They have the exact same formula, the only difference is a slight change in positioning. Yet both drugs have different properties. Therefore we cannot assume that metabolites wiill invariably retain all of the properties of the parent drug.

As for the class system, Methandrostenolon has both class I and II properties. As with Tren, Test, etc.
 
HyaSynth, I dun think methandrostenlone/methandienone (dianabol) has both Class I and II activities. Dianabol works through non A/R mediated pathways. Huck has dealt with this issue on several threads.
