CK muscle enzymes

I just got my lab results from my Doctor on 1/3/02. Everything looked good except my CK muscle enzymes. The doc told me they are to be around +/- 100 and mine were at 2700. Does anyone have any information about this that would be helpful. I'm scheduled to get a muscle biopsy next week to check for damage, diseases, or any other possible problems. Any suggestions of who might be able to help me with someone who knows something about this topic.
