You think so? I might try this next time I clean (Friday).....I have been noticing some slight discomfort when my feet hit the floor due to arch support issues as well......I bring both pairs to the gym, so I will definitely try it, I'll warm up in the Nike's and if I like it, I will use them.....I will post and let you know.

Olympic shoes come with an elevated heel. I think it makes a big difference.

Rbrown actually had a pair of his skechers modified to give them an elevated heel for O lifting. He likes them a lot.

LOL!! c'mon... I was kidding!! geez.. it doesnt really matter what shoes you wear-- that effects your squat # by prob less than 1/2%-- unless theyre Manolo Blahniks... lol!

Maybe thats why my deadlift shot up 45lbs after getting the chucks :alien:

I use running shoes (Fila, beat to shit, half a size to big, got them from my uncle) for the rest of my training, and only use the chucks once a week on deadlifft day.

What other kinds of shoes you guys use that are other then crosstraining or basketball shoes?

I've been using wrestling shoes for years and I like them better than my Chucks.

U think there is any use in getting some expensive powerlifting or olympic lifting shoes...there were these ones this one guy was using that had the most greatest sound everytime he hit the ground with his feet....

Yeah one of my training partners has a pair of olympic shoes.

If I'm not mistaken... the heel is wood, or at least it looks taht way.. could make for cool noise.
