I got some very bad news about my latest blood test results. This is the letter that went from my doctor that gives me legal scripts for AS and Test to my PCP:
Jennifer,
Thank you for forwarding to me Alan Chiras triglycerides and cholesterol,
which were done in the fasting state.
You obtained values of TRIG 929 and CHOL 545. HDL CHOL was not detectable.
I checked my records. On December 30, 2002, his TRIG were 121, CHOL 148.
(These were not fasting).
I am not sure what caused this sudden change. In any event given that Alan
is on both injectable nandrolone and topical androgel, I recommended to him
that he stop BOTH and that in 3 or 4 weeks, he have them re-measured. He
has agreed to this, though obviously he is not happy with this decision.
He did mention that we should be aware that his psych med changed from
Effexor to Wellbutrin. This could confound the picture. In addition, his
HIV meds have changed (particularly Viread).
so we have a plan of action for now. Let's see what his repeat numbers
show.
Not happy
I'm bawling my freaking eyes out. Listen, I got my last deca shot today, rubbed the last packets of androgel, and am sucking on the last paper d-bol for a long time. Listen, I'm frightened with either way these tests next month turn out. if they show numbers returning to normal, they are going to blame it on the Deca and Test (and d-bol). If my test numbers are still as high as they are, i'm just a prime candidate for a heart event at the age of 42.
Any thoughts gentlemen?? Thanks!
