There are a lot of pale and lame imitation but nothing as good

some more good tracks there, Lucid - i can't help myself is exelent, it's those type of tracks that are on the first ever euphoria. I recommend downloading soulseek, its the best file sharer, faster than torrents and has tons of trance.

not exactly trance.. but have u all heard of telepopmuzik? they are french, but vocals are all english.. and they're BRILLIANT!! check it out man.. latest album is called angel milk.. older one called genetic world.. famous for club hit "breathe" absolutely phenomenal!!

Cantoma is similar to Chicane: downtempo, atmospheric... not dance-able.

I personally listen to dance/house/trance when I work out. Stuff that Sasha, Digweed, Dave Seaman and the like spin... Released CDs include anything on the Global Underground label, Renaissance, etc.

Sitting here at work, I'm listening to some chill/downtempo stuff similar in "feel" to Chicane (chill, ambient, beats, trippy). Here's some recommendations to check out.

~The Dining Rooms (two guys out of Italy, very chill with trippy.beats.cafe.style stuff)

~Thievery Corporation (two guys out of Washington DC, anything they touch is usually gold... required downtempo)

~Tosca (group like Thievery Corp, good stuff)

~Kruder & Dorfmeister (two guys out of the UK, very similar to Thievery Corp)

~Bonobo (he's an artist out of the UK), record label is Ninja Tune

~Shpongle (two guys from the UK, a little abstract.beats.trippy.funky.weird.stuff, very cool if you open your mind a little bit)

~Hotel Costes Series, set of CDs, I think they're up to Volume 7 or 8?

~Cafe del Mar, set of CDs, again I think they're up to Volume 10 or 11?

get Sasha's Fundacion CD. It's similar to Chicane in vibe, but with a much more modern sound. You can just download the individual tracks, because theey're quite great as well.
