Do you even realize that without legs they wouldn't be nearly as tough as they think they are? I'd like to see them out run me with no legs. Fat chance. And if you threw some bright pink paint all over a cheetah, you'd better believe those spots aren't going to keep it camouflaged. A gazelle would see it coming from a mile (or more) away and would get the fuck out of there. Plus, if the cheetah had no legs then a gazelle could totally take it in a fight. Cheetahs had might as well be Mexican for all the good they do the world.
