Spunky, you need to let him know that if one is serious about making gains, they must make the time. I carry food in tupaware containers, and even cheese or nutts in zip lock bags in my pockets if no other option is available, everywhere I go. So what if you work ten hours a day, you can take 2 minutes to choke down 800 cals every couple of hours regardless of your line of work. If you are in school this can be a problem, but is solvable. I used to take a protien shake to my biology lab every day in a bottle and drink it right in the lab, when you explain why you must do this during a long class the professors will usually be understanding. If they aren't, just let them know that you bench over 400 ibs and the steroids tend to make you very angry when you are hungry... that you are only trying to protect the lab equipment and your classmates by drinking that protien shake.
Riker, sorry but that is bullshit. Anyone who is serious about making gains eats by the clock, hungry or not. Appitite is a non-issue. Its simply a matter of discipline. Saying you aren't hungry so you skip a meal is on par with saying you don't feel like workingout today, so you don't train. Or like saying, you really don't like needles this week, so you'll just skip your injection of test mid-cycle.
