Changing Things Up

Gawd

Alright,

I need to change up my routine soon so trying to think of what to do. Lately I've been doing Upper Body Monday and Friday (5 Sets, Highish reps), 10 sets of squats on wednesday, Cardio Tuesday, Thursday and weekend, Abs tuesday and back extensions on thursday.
Before that I was doing a 5x5.

My results so far since about may or june of last year:
Started at about 380 lbs, mid 40's BF. Currently at 267 lbs, BF is way down (getting another bf test soon).

Also, when I switch up my routine I'm thinking about running a cycle of Anavar, so I think the routine should be fairly intense. Any ideas?

Well done on loosing the weight. The routine you have been following seems a bit unorthadox, but if it was working, no need to change. However, given your stats i would definatly say the way to go is a regular BODYBUILDING split, 5 days a week. The 5 x 5 routine is fantastic for strength gains and can add muscle mass, expecially in ectomorphic and younger lifters. You dont come into either catagory, so id def give the traditional BBing split a go.

Given your age, im sure you know what exercises you respond to so ill leave exercise choice up to you. Obviously start with your heavy compounds and then isolate and flush the muscle after. Cardio should be a major component of this programme. Mon, wed, fri after weight training would be ideal.

If you are really struggling with ideas, shoot me a message and ill try and assist. Good luck.
